The record label for several bands in the heavy metal, hardcore punk and thrash genres, including Anthrax, S.O.D., M.O.D., Mind Funk, Metallica, and Overkill, Raven, and have recently signed with Ministry and Mushroomhead. They will be the distributor of Five Finger Death Punch's debut release, The Way of the Fist

Megaforce Records began in 1982 as home for the recordings of Metallica. Since then, Megaforce has gone on to release the recordings of Anthrax, Manowar, King's X, Ace Frehley and many others. Megaforce Records is distributed in the US through Sony BMG Music Entertainment/ RED Distribution.
