The Phenomenauts have announced the "Large Hadron Collider" tour which will also feature members of the Epoxies, The Slackers, Groovie Ghoulies and the River City Rebels. NASA's favourite new/wave punk band are headlining the tour to celebrate the upcoming launch of the Large Hadron Collider, a massive collider which aims to discover the origins of matter, including the elusive Higgs Boson as well as establish the nature of "dark matter." The collider could find evidence of extra
dimensions, a boon for super-string theory, which holds that quarks,
the particles that make up atoms, are infinitesimal vibrating strings.
