X frontman John Doe will release A Year In The Wilderness on June 12th on Yep Rock. The record was co-produced by Doe and Dave Way, recorded at the Way Station in Los Angeles. Like his previous solo effort Forever Hasn’t Happened Yet, the album will feature a number of geust musicians. The record will feature apperances by Black Keys guitarist Dan Auerbach, pedal steel player Greg Leisz and vocalists Aimee Mann, Jill Sobule and Kathleen Edwards.

The Yep Roc box set will include material from his Jam and Style Council days, as well as from his recent years as a solo artist.
