Long before Dexter Holland and Propagandhi were writing political content into their lyrics, Dave Smalley was slapping the man in the face with his punk tunes. Down By Law doesn't always come up with the catchiest riffs (although Flower Tattoo and Sympathy For The World have moved a few toes to tappin') or the most commercial sounds.
