Mind you, it's pretty much the same something that Blink 182, and Millencollin (and the Teen Idols before them), were on to. Despite the predictability of the lyrics, the music is solid and the tunes catchy. Kung Fu owes much to this band for dragging them back into the limelight that has been lacking since the Vandals Christmas album. Old School punkers will appreciate the classic punk, four-chord simple tunes - and the New School will rave on about the teenie-bopper, lost-love lyrics. Nothing outstanding - but a solid effort for a young band with a bright future... Please login or register to post comments. What are the benefits of having a Punknews.org account?
this is a pretty shitty review. not as good as anywhere but here, but still pretty sweet This is their best.. these old reviews are horrific yes, like the last comments... best record from this sellout band... live are they nothing special... This is by far the Ataris cd. This disc is for everyone. So do yourselfs a favor and get this if your a first time listener to the Ataris and get it anyway cause this is really good. best pop punk album in a long time. i agree san diamas is probobly one of the best pop punk songs ever ok, all you guys say all their old albums are better, you're kind of running out of "old albums" to talk about. This album isn't old, but it's back there. This CD rules and fuck all you other guys who put it down. u misspelled Millencolin in the review...but nevertheless, the ataris kick ass. They'll be big in the future but hopefully not good charlotte big i like this album a lot... but since their signing to columbia i think there going mainstream it dissapoints me but hey there still a great band. the best song on this album is losing steak by far. San Dimas Highschool Football Rules is one of the best pop punk songs ever. The rest of the alblum aint 2 bad either. There old cd's are three times as good. If they stayed away from the crap that attracts tennie-boppers it might be alright. Buy there old cd it was redone at it kicks ass. This is a good cd, I can just let it play and not have to skip through the tracks to find a good song. The only problem i found was there is not one great song on the cd they are all just good. One of my all-time favorite punk CDs from a new band. A must have for any CD collection. This album is so wicked, It was the first ataris album I bougth and I love it. San Dimas Highschool Football Rules is the best song on the cd but last song i will ever write about a girl, losing streak and i wont spend anotehr night alone are excellent. Its the best ataris cd yet and you should buy it |

This is their best album. The review provided by PunkNews sucks, especially when the review is posted 3 years after the album's release.
