PrimaryPrimary: Army of HelamanArmy of Helaman (2012)Asian Man Records Reviewer Rating: 3.5 Contributed by: JohnGentileJohnGentile (others by this writer | submit your own) The concept of this record is supernal. The execution is miraculous. At first glance and listen, Primary's debut EP, Army of Helaman, is a standard crust punk thrasher. The eight songs on this seven-inch whiz by at a rapid pace. The entire record is coated in a thick grime, while down tuned guita.

As a proud Mormon, I find this record to be pretty awesome. I loved the inclusion of the picture from the Book of Abraham on the record and the picture of Helaman on the cover. I didn't find this to be mocking the Mormon faith in any way. If other members can take the songs from primary and turn them into "hip hop" songs, then why can't some dudes turn them into hardcore arrangements? The Egyptian business is probably relating to the Book of Abraham: |

Update: The label is the Hypocephalus of Sheshonk- that is, a ritual placed on the head of the late period king Sheshonk I during the late period to protect it. But, in the Mormon faith, it is interpreted as having a significance regarding celestial objects.
