Bad Religion - New Maps of Hell (Deluxe)

Useless I.D. lays down some good tracks on this album... but the Ataris outshine them at almost every turn. This is a band in the process of finding out if they are going big, or going home. Brazil is a long ways to go home to, so hopefully they go big. It's always reassuring to hear a band that gives no apologies for sounding raw... and that is exactly how Useless I.D. sounds. I would suggest getting to the live show if you can, as for this album - well, buy it for the Ataris, and enjoy the "bonus" of having two bands for one low cost...

(Aren't Useless ID from Israel? - Ed)
