The ScutchesThe Scutches: Ten Songs, Ten Years [12-inch]Ten Songs, Ten Years [12-inch] (2012)Bright & Barrow Reviewer Rating: 2.5 Contributed by: JeloneJelone (others by this writer | submit your own) Ignore the lyrics, and the Scutches' new record, Ten Songs, Ten Years, is a fairly catchy batch of pop punk tunes in the vein of the Ramones, the Queers and Mean Jeans. Yeah, it's a tried 'n' true style, but it's still a winner. Ten Songs delivers exactly what its title promises, as the two-piece.

i'd argue that the lyrics are the MOST important part of pop-punk due to the fact that there are so many bands playing the style. this explains why the queers and houseboat remain among my favorite bands despite my overall lack of enthusiasm for the genre |

This is a really catchy album. I think two and a half stars is very low.
