Most label compilations, seem to pass right by my eye, but instead of passing this one up, I decided to buy it and check it out. I was pleasantly surprised on how many of these bands I liked and how many of the songs are really good!

My Favorite song is near the end of the cd, it's by the band Rock Kills Kid, the song is called "dream"....if there is one song on this CD, that you can listen to over and over again, it is definitely this song. Their other song "immanuel" on the CD is good too...this is definately a band I'm going to be watching out for.

I also really liked the opening song on the CD by Junction 18 called, "little Joey," very catchy...you can totally see how much they've progressed, from their last CD.

Near Miss is pretty good...they sound a little too much like bigwig, just not as many screaming in the vocals.

The plain white T's write some catchy stuff too. Their song "what if" i really liked.

Glasseater has progressed from what I had previously heard. I like the new singer and I think they rock!

I didn't really care for Knockout. They sound like every other pop punk band out there...one of their songs sounds exactly like a blink song.

Brazil is very interesting, a lot like at the drive in...not sure if i like them yet

keepsake...i can't tell if the guys got a good voice or if he is straining the whole time...very emo stuff

bigwig has always been cool...i did kind of like their unreleased song, a little different from what they've put out before

i liked both of the lonely kings songs, they are more of a rock band, but there's nothing wrong with that

as i said...the rock kills kid stuff was my favorite, i can't wait to get more of their stuff when it comes out

I've always heard of dynamite boy, but never listened to them...they are OK, they just remind me a little to much of green day

Overall this CD was really good, a lot of good songs, definitely a CD that I will be listening to for a while. If you are looking for some new bands to check out, definitely buy this CD!

i really like this comp... junction 18 songs are great and near miss, glasseater, all of them actually... except keepsake and brazil, keepsake sounds like the guy tries to hard to have a soft sweet voice... the first dynamite boy song is really good too, and the bigwig unreleased track

Although I hate the really pop punk some on this comp, I've had this thing in my player almost every day since I've had it. It's one of those rare CD's where you 'progress' by reading it and start to like different songs more the more you listen to it. My current favorite is definately the Rock Kills Kid song. Also, for whoever said Dynamite Boy sounds like Green Day, wake the fuck up.

Your comment on Knockout is dead on. They're from around these parts (Chicago) and it's a sad joke they got signed. All their songs sound the same and resemble about 9 other popular pop-punk bands rolled perfectly into one. You should see all the little kids and HS girls around here that love them. I do have to say though, their drummer is awesome.

I have to say Brasil is most definitely the best band on the fearless. For those of you who think every band on the label sounds the same (which many of them do) check these guys out. They're amazing. You can download 2 songs from the fearless website, which I think is fearlessrecords.com. It only takes a few seconds or minutes to download and it is definitely worth your while.

100% agree on the Keepsake comment. I love their old stuff, but the new album sucks ass. Alotta ass. Fearless sucks.

I bet one of the guys in Rock Kills Kid reviewed this cd and that is why he is so in love with his own band. When they were jte they sucked, so probably same thing here. wuss.

I haven't heard the Cd, so I won't comment on the cd. However...

What the fuck is with bands signing to fearless and having their balls fall off? I'm not saying that it's the label's fault.

Keepsake: Their end of sound stuff was so kick ass, and then this new album comes out and it's wuss rock to the nth degree.

    Glasseater: same thing.

    What the fuck? Seriously.
