At the time, the title said it all. The punk scene was seriously lacking from the assault on the senses that Pennywise provides. Then this little gem came out, and filled the gap. This album was in large part a slap in the face for Offspring who worked so hard at learning the Pennywise style, only to have the rug pulled out from under them. The original speedsters did not disappoint, and the same old, lovely to hear them, vocals that have inspired skaters and boarders alike were as strong as ever. While grunge died in Seattle, Punk lived another peaceful day in Pennywise...

Best pennywise realease to date, yes! Every Single Day fullfills my definition of a great punk song just perfectly pennywise's best release to date when will someone review Unknown road'93 and Straight ahead'99? Every Single Day is the best Pennywise song ever and one of the best Punk Rock songs ever written. It's got everything. Hey this album kicks fuckin ass!!!! I love all your songs, I mean its just cool how you have meaning for every song you write, or atleast thats the way i see it. Your new album is rad as hell! I thought I loved Pennywise until I heard your new shit!!! My old school friend got me stuck on you...his name is christian, and he used to ride with the Z Boys....From then on I loved puck rock....I mean I had heard you before, and I liked you, but when he revealed what punk rock really was, I was hooked...So I thank you for inspiring my skating! Keep On Punk Rockin'!!! Kickass CD, one of the first punk CDs I owned. Still have it and listen to it regularly they kick ass fletcher is a god and this cd kicks ass firt punk record i ever bought... that should tell you everything you need to know about what i think of this album I reckon this is their best. Not that I don't love the others but I do think they progressed far more on their first 3 albums compared to their last 3. It seems that a bands 3rd album is generally their best(ie Lagwagon's Hoss, Nofx's Ribbed, Strung Out's Twisted by Design....) perhaps this is when they have matured but are still more in touch with their roots than ever. Pennywise was one of the bands that got me into Punk in the first place & this was one of my fav Cd's(still is). Its Pennywise thats all i have to say. PENNYWISE=FUCKING AWESOME Though I think your Offspring comment is wrong I'll give this album a 10. Land of the Free is their best to date!... this one is also good. This album is good, and the new Pennywise rocks too. I downloaded the mp3 album a week ago, and I am not remotely disappointed. The new Pennywise album should be really good, I've hearing it should be their best, contains real message for once. But this album was great too. Haha, this review confuses me. I like the CD though. This album is pretty good, but when are pennywise gonna change? They've been makin the same album for more then 10 years now. yah, bad review, but great cd Mr. Fa, you write bad reviews. |
