To tell you the truth I was a little skeptical to go to this show, I had seen GC at Warped this summer and I really enjoyed their show, but I was worried with their recent TRL and Billboard success that their show was not going to live up to my expectations. I saw Good Charlotte before they were popular at a radio festival. While looking up another band for some music, I happened to run across this. Wow, I must say I have no faith in the current generation. If you have nothing better to do than sit there behind your computer and talk smack about simple plan(pierre is sexy) then you need to go out and get a life. For the people that like simple plan keep wirting and ignore these losers. you people who dont like gc should just fuck off if ya dont like them the why say stuff bad bout them no ones forcing you to listen to there music so go listen to the shit music you like! SP rocks. End of story. simple plan and good charlotte could go suck big fuckin dick! i would never waste my money on that shit what the fuck is up with GAY bands like that. 12 year old girls by shirts of those FAGS. simple plan only went platiumon thier stupid record because they have pretty faces but reality w/out the make-up they look like shit, i've seen them w/up it and i went blind for a fuckin moment and also iwas in shock. they should be called "SIMPLE FAGOTS" I LAUGH AT THEIR ASS HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHA The only thing i go to this concert is to throw bags of shit at them. Well i hope you fail your 12 year old exams Maybe they don't care what scum like you think and i hope you fail your gcse. I'll leave them alone the day i don't have to hear idiots like you defending them for having a good work ethic or whatever, because they don't they are rip of merchants dressed as punks, and don't even get me stared on the music. Their lyrics are on the same par for poorness as mest, which is saying a lot. They are on a majar lable because they signed them frist.Just leave them alone. Benji can dress how ever he wants just because you losers hate them doesn't mean no one else can. If they just wanted to make music, then why are they charging extortinate amounts of money for hoodies (£40, around $75) and are contantly plugging there pathetic clothing label. i don't know what kind of idiot would pay £40 for a on black piece of fabric, on zip and 4 fabric letters. Hmm, only idiotic 12 year old girls who think the presenters of MTV and TRL or whatever are the coolest, funniest people around. Why are they on a major, if thy were just in it for the music, they'ed have a lot more fun on drive-thru or whatever.The person below is clearly stupid and dosn't realise how complety phoney Good Charlotte are. leave them alone they just want to make music.I think they are good. You know what really sucks? Good Charlotte haters who can't spell properly or use correct grammar. You're only reinforcing my belief that a person needs to be intelligent to appreciate GC and their music. I love GC and I actually own a dictionary and have a firm grasp of the English language since I have been speaking it since the age of two! Get thee to a LIBRARY! when will you kids understand that good charlotte is terrible.I dont think this gay trend will die.These posers will get booed off at the warped tour like simple plan,the used,new found glory,blink182,etc etc.JUST FUCKING DIE NOW GC. ok i dont live in colombus i didnt attend the show but i have seen all 3 bands live and the only good one was autopilot off. good charlotte are a pussy pop piece of shit band. and simple plan is even hated in canada where they came from. do yourself a favor if you see autopilot off support them there great if you see GC or simple plan stone them to death I haven't actually seen Good Charlotte live (so ignore my rating), so I can't defend their live performances. But to the Anonymous guy/girl who complained about Benji's clothes: he can dress however he wants. I'm sure he actually listens to all those bands he wears shirts for. That doesn't mean he's being a hypocrite or anything. Just b/c he has (or had) spikey hair and wears Exploited or Unseen shirts, doesn't mean he's saying he's in a punk band. I'm sure he's fully aware that he doesn't play punk music. He's just showing what kinds of bands he likes. Since when did "punk" music, or any music in general, become about your appearance? That's bullshit, it shouldn't matter what somebody wears. face it, good charlotte sux ass man! I can't stand how benji or whoever it is dresses like a real punk w/ his hair all up in huge spikes! If he wants to dress that way fine, but at least he should find a real punk band to play w/. Their song, lifestyles of the rich and the famous is like a backstreet boys song sped up only w/ a guitar and i can't stand boy bands or bands like good charlotte! Good Charlotte are MTV wannabes and they suck. Thats all i gotta say. Later I have no respect for the Casualties, and naturally, I would never wear their t-shirts. This is music for kids, it's like a toys r us soundtrack. If you like it fine, but it is what it is. How about you people just leave them alone. Let others enjoy listenin and doing what they want. GC is my fav band and it doesnt matter wat u people think. Being original isnt worrying or complaining about other people its just being yourself. i wouldnt be caught dead at this show... these bands make sugarcult and mest look like gods What is with these poppy ass bands trying to portray themselves as punk? Benji needs to stop camping out at hot topic and spoon feeding poseurs the message that "it's ok to wear casualties tshirts," when most kids who do are just copying him, with little or no genuine respect for the casualties. I just watched Not Another Teen Movie last night, god Good Charlotte suck. Have they any integrity whatsoever? 80's covers (done terribly might I add) at a dance in a shitty teen movie? Die motherfuckers die. This is disposable music for a disposable world. Where's the creativity? Where's the originality? Where's the emotion and the feeling that these guys really are into what they do? This shit sounds like it should be played on Sesame Street. People need to turn off that poison to music known as "mtv" and start going to shows, people need to quit being influenced by shitty pop music and by live performers. Use TV to show genious, not to cash in. If I had to sell my soul like these 'punk rockers' did in order to get laid, well then, I'll take a vow of celabacy. There is probably no worse group of corporate selling out in our lifetimes than the current pop-punk scene, and these clowns lead the way. Pop-punk is fine, its just the way that its watered down, presented and marketed that makes it really tender. Lets all give Good Charlotte a round of applause for lowering the bar for aspiring musicians everywhere. I'm going to go listen to their new CD right now while I stick pins in my eyeballs. Yeah, I'm DAMN jealous I can't get FAT 12 year old pussy. You guys are all jealous. Plain and simple. Everytime I see a band and I see a member of the headliner on stage, stage diving, or singing along with the openers, it's damn cool. I may like like the GC as much as you, but they aren't nearly as bad as all the "punk rockers" here like to think. I thought the review was damn well written. And I'm not saying that just cause you gave me a good haircut tonite. ;) just a really quick comment... i never once called the 12 year old girls "poseurs" (god i hate that word)... i was simply disturbed by those girls, coz i heard them talking... and they were talking about trl shit in a good way... so they were just wearing the shirts because benji wears them... c'mon... that's awesome if you like unseen or exploited... just don't do shit because the band does it... and to whoever put that i sounded like a 13 year old when saying that it was cool that benji stage dove, i am saying that it was cool coz that shows that he's not a goddamned prick that thinks he's better than everyone... and it's cool, coz it also shows that he was having fun... whatever.... the 5 is for autopilot off. good band, good guys. the only real pop-punk band i like that has some balls. unlike the girls i mean guys in simple plan whose testicles haven't descended yet. and good charlotte is a terrible band I can't believe the nerve of this douche bag going to a show by a band we don't like and actually having a good time. The reviewer said the words "I liked it a lot" way way way way way too much. someone should murder simple plan they are pussies...i admit the only reason i came to read this review is to bash them...reset was the best band and i dont know what the fuck pierre was thinking... GOOD CHARLOTTE: Prime Demographic: Mtv watching, TRL voting 12 yr old girls. They dont work. But their parents do, and the parents love to share their money. OK, I really liked GC first album. Their wasnt a song on their that I would skip over but the new one blows. 4 good songs... if that. Simple Plan is a fucking joke. Talk about an annoying vocalist. And cheesy... my god by cheesiness. Anyway, I dont know Autopilot Off too well, but I like their old stuff (when they were cooter) and I hope they played some of that for you because its so much better than the couple of songs I heard from the Autopilot Off days. Reviews was ok... Same as everyone else's review of a concert.-BostonMusicGuy I'll give APO credit for being on the bill of this show. I saw them with Snapcase a month ago and I was very surprised they are actually pretty decent. "If you can put the TRL bullshit and preconceptions, you will treat yourself to a good show." This must have been a horrible, corny ass pop music forray by these corporate boy toys who look like fashion excerpts from tenn people....how fucking lame. We live in terrible times when this shit qualifies as music. This tour made the floor of Klub Phenomenon collapse in Freeport. i hate good charlotte with a passion. but the review was very well written. so i give it a 10, unlike the no use for a name show review. i like nufan, but the review was horrible so i gave it a 1. Good Charlotte/Autopilot Off/Simple Plan... that's gotta be the shittiest line up ever. seriously, who would pay money for that garbage. Considering who you went to see I really enjoyed this review.
