All screamed jubilation in Ottawa Nov.17th and 18th ensuing the announcement of a 2 day Belvedere show. Belvedere’s a technically clever melodic punk-core four piece from Calgary, Alberta, packed with a chock-full of bare-knuckled knowledge on instruments and cried lyrics of memories that didn’t always serve them well. I’m still looking, for a mystical man to answer me why it’s taken so damn long for all their hardcore, hard slog to gain them their well deserved established name? i have seen belvedere 3 times, and all three are without doubt my 3 most favourite experiences of MY LIFE!. i could go on FOREVER, but ill just stop here. I think Belvedere is good but I met their bass player once and he was so fucking full of himself that I haven't listened to them since. Sucks when good bands have members that have been told how awesome they are one too many times. anyone who have a problem with belvedere all suck. your just mad that they actually have lives and can still do as good as they are. lay off!!! god you guys are such creeps. anyway belvedere i love you guys and so does my best friend and we can't wait untill you guys come back to Fort McMurray. Most if not all of us up here love you so don't listen to what the creeps have to say and i think all of you are great together even your new drummer. you guys are also very very hot. anyone who have a problem with belvedere all suck. your just mad that they actually have lives and can still do as good as they are. lay off!!! god your guys are such creeps. anyway belvedere i love you guys and so does my best friend and we can't wait untill you guys come back to Fort McMurray. And Steve's voice sounds just as good as the cd!It's all in the talent. Someone wrote, "I'd have to agree, maybe they should try something different then playing the same style of songs that they've been playing since their first album." belvedere's fucking awesome, im glad you agree. everyone whos here to bitch about the review get the fuck out of here and send your comments about the band please I've seen Belvedere in Berlin '02 together with the Satanic Surfers. ...A new Belvedere fan was born. love how quick everyone is to knock the review or the band, but flat out Belvedere puts out an amazing live show. The collective years of touring experience is evident as they really connect with the fans. Say what you want, but Belvedere is a band that deserves respect and their $10 cover. Belvedere does rule. It's funny how most of the posts dissing them are from people who openly admit they've never seen them or heard them. Scott is honestly the best guitar player on the planet. They're on a tiny American label (Jumpstart) but yet they work their asses off and play a billion shows a year. At least we dont have pussy beer like in the states. And we dont have that fucking moron Bush as our leader. They dont come more retarded than bush. That dude's ramblings are the funniest things I've read. I wanna provoke him more just so I can see whats next. belvedere rocks!!I never heard such a technical sk8punk band!I saw them in Quebec on May 2002 and I've been hit right in the head when they started their first songuntil their last one!I talked with steve and scott and I can tell you that they really know their 'job'! it's cool to see that another canadian band get so much success!you won't find bands like this one everywhere!they are incredible!I only hope they won't change too much their style!it would kill the fantasy of listening a REAL punk band! what the hell is up with this reviewer? she's all with this, "LIFE!" attitude, raving about belvedere and forgetting prefixes and dangling modifiers...and the whole thing sucks...i don't realy care about grammar much, but i was once an english major...i wouldn't care at all if the review was at least interesting...in short, this review is equivocable to poo. Ive known a couple members of this band former/current for a long time and there isnt a harder working band out there. What's this crap in this review about three guitars. Thats a bass in jasons hand. belvedere came to san diego, i saw them here last time, they are freakin awesome. Take off you hoser. project reconnect rips it up... that band is fucking AMAZING And this website asshole. canadians are worthless. As far as im concerened, they're here to do nothing but provide me with stripclubs and good beer. my buddy joey used to drum for them a little bit ago. he is a amazing drummer. check out his band project reconnect good shit man. belvedere also played here a year ago they were pretty cool Relax, literal man. "Absolutely toxicant." haha I swear to god you make Mr. Peepers look like Einstein. really bad review, but an amazing fucking band. their live shows are some of the best around today, and any chance you get to see them you should. i can't understand why anyone would go see this band once, let alone TWICE. why didnt the reviewer review any of the other bands at this show. This has got to be the LAMEst (for real though) review I've read at punknews.org. No, seriously. I wanna write a review for this show even though I wasn't there, just to make it only sort of okay to have read the review for it, cause this ass-head didn't take the time to remember where when why who whoah what happened at this show other than the fact that BELVEDERE played. is their name FROM the show , if it is, wheather this band sucks or not they have great roots connected to their name.
