I can't speak for other scenes, but around my city it seems like metal-core kids are getting more and more intersted in straight-up metal. I went to a Dimmu Borgir show earlier this year and I saw almost as many black do-rags and zippered hoodies as I did long hair and high tops. I don't know if its just a passing trend or whatever, but a lot of the people around the Northwest scene are turning into full on metalheads. Please login or register to post comments. best album ever. you guys are funny no like really...you guys bitch over stupid stuff...really I hate it when people try to generalize other people by saying "all the hardcore kids this and all the metal kids that", it's fucking annoying, I can listen o whatever the fuck I want and hardcore, to me atleast, is about being independent and not relying on a "group" or "scene". People who fight with their friends are pussys, not "hardcore". To the guy a couple below- don't judge an entire fucking genre on the actions of a few knuckleheads who feel they can only listen to one kind of music and can't fight themselves so get 10 of their friends to. Open your head. (a 5 because I haven't heard it) a 10 for reviewing it at all. All my metalcore friends just went into straight metal. | Features
