This DVD is all music videos from various punk bands. AFI, Refused, MxPx, Vandals, Ataris, Descendents, and more make up this 21 video DVD. Ok, I know All Systems Go is poppy, and I didn't like this song at first either. But after a few listens, it was so catchy I found myself downloading it so I could listen to it more. Well, the AFI video is probably what you would expect. Not their best song, but a good one, and an alright video. The Refused video is spectacular. This was the first time I heard Refused, after that, I was hooked. The video is strange, but good; and the song is great. The Descendents video is kind of weird, it starts off with people standing outside a sperm bank. Good song and alright video though. Again I know the Ataris are poppy, but I had to watch the video since it was called that. I mean, that's a line out of one of my favorite movies, Bill and Ted. I grew to like the song, the video is just them in a room, so, not much going on there. The Sloppy Seconds song is about getting pizza for free if it's not at your house in fifteen minutes. The video is pretty much that too. Some of the songs I didn't like were Horace Pinker, The Strike, The Vandal's song was funny, but the video sucked, and the Dwarves song upset me. "Over You" is definitely not their best song. Divit's "Just Let Em' Burn" and Movielife's "Single White Female" I'm not real sure about. I kind of like Divit, but Movielife I just can't listen to for too long. Pick up this video if you want to see videos by these guys, you sure won't see them on MTV. so in my comment before i kinda said snapcase twice. my point's still valid. "Pick up this video if you want to see videos by these guys, you sure won't see them on MTV." YOU FORGOT FLOGGING MOLLY!! they were the SOLE reason i bought this dvd last june. the vandals video is just a clip from joe escalantes movie 'that darn punk' the horace pinker video is great. i don't know what this guy is talking about. you have a band wuss? that terrifies me for so many reasons... Nice, that Midtown video is recorded at the community center right next door to my school. my band actually plays there a lot. it is a really cool place, just thought I'd share you all with that tid bit. word. it is in la canada, ca. you failed to mention the One Man Army video on here the horace pinker video is alright, but the song rocks. Actually, I've seen the "new noise" video a few time on muchmusic here in canada...usually during their "loud" show (which also plays a lot of shitty music). That Dwarves song and video are awesome, just my take, but I really like it. Sloppy Seconds kick ass. They are one of those bands that never get enough credit. They were one of the best bands on the Nitro label. I hope Coldfront gives them the respect they deserve and I hope they promote their new album properly too. Sloppy Seconds? Someone likes them? All Systems Go fuckin' ROCKS. Any Big Drill Car fans here? Do any of you even know who the hell they were? just rock n roll is the midtown video thats gob, the guys playing soccer with the zombies. I think they won a gemini or a juno for that or something. Cause that matters only in canada. which video on this is the one with the guys playing soccer with a bunch of zombies...it's pretty hilarious. probably "Just rock and roll" where they're playing at a bar mitzvah and all sorts of jewish-related shit happens what Midtown video is it? I like the midtown video, its silly. I second that motion. New Noise should be an extra on every DVD ever made. yup. they sure are. aren't the vandals on here? |
