When I first heard Good Charlotte's hit song "Little Things" on the radio, I just knew I had to get the CD. I usually only buy CDs if I know two or three of the band's songs, but with Good Charlotte, I made an exception. I absolutely LOVED "Little Things," an awesome song about the low points of high school. I couldn't stop listening to it. When I finally got my hands on the CD, I was not dissapointed at all. I was blown away. I thought all the songs were extremely catchy and with a great alternative/punk/ska sound to it (except for "Change," the one song I didn't care for). The five best songs on the disc are "Little Things," "Waldorfworldwide," "Let Me Go" "I Don't Wanna Stop," and "Walk By." Possibly one of the worst bands to be associated with punk rock. What exactly is 'punk' about this band? The fact that their record label/manager says they are? They were inspired by artists such as Rancid, Social Distortion, the Clash, AFI, etc. Alot of the artists they were inspired by had an image, so obviously they wanted an image too. This CD will always be a classic to me. So many good memories of blasting it in the car in the summertime. Try listening to Bad Religion, The Clash, and The Decline by NOFX the Misfits THE DEAD KENNEDYS or THE SEX PISTOLS!!! The only good part of this album was when it was over. true punk is and always will be a political movement. these pop punk bands are frauds. just like Resistance records taking hard rock and using it to spread white nationalism, pop punk takes the punk image and style but any semblence of real punk ends there. the pop punk industry takes punk and neuters it of its power by taking lyrics and putting in generic lyrics about relationships. there were punk songs with such lyrics but they were few. instead of sing of change and anti racism and other causes, pop punk sings about girls and zits and cars. pop punk is an illusion used to rake in money. i wanted to shoot myself when a girl came up to me and said, "hey you listen to punk?"
