This band is probably really tired of this comparison but I have to say it, they sound just like the Buzzcocks with just a little bit more pop. But don’t let that p word scare you away punk this is the real deal, this is straight up ’77 style punk with a little polish, a lot of heart, and a whole 13 tracks of musical goodness. To say these guys sound nothing like the Buzzcocks is like saying Rancid sounds nothing like the Clash. Don't buy this unless you've bought every single Buzzcocks albums from their original line up... Look, its nice that new bands love old punk, I do too, but where's the originality? Buy the Yeah Yeah Yeahs instead... Why isn't their album on this site? This is kind of bland, buy the Exploding Hearts' "Guitar Romantic" on Dirtnap instead. Simply put this is one of those records that does not leave your stereo for months. Catchy, poppy, yet full of attitude. This was one of the best records to come out in 2002 and it is nice to see it reissued on Broken. Well ok then, I'll check them out. | Features
