Although Saves the Day, Taking Back Sunday, and Moneen had their Seattle show scheduled on a Monday evening, it did not stop their young fans from selling out the Showbox on a school night. I have to admit, I was even contemplating showing up for this show, I thought that sleep and relaxation on a weeknight may be more important. I am sure glad I decided to make an appearance – this was one of the most entertaining shows I have been to in a long time. Please login or register to post comments. wow, these people really have no taste in music if they're claiming tbs and std sucks. i saw their show in jacksonville and it f_cking rocked. i thought moneen was alright, i'm not dissing their music or anything. but anyway, i thought your review was great. rock on. Does anyone know the setlist for this show? Wow, you're older than us, you must know more about good music than us, don't suppose you know anyone even older than you, they must be the musical genius of the universe for being so fucking old, you know, because age determines what you know about music. God I hate fuckers like you. i just finished fucking your mom. Moneen are boring as hell. I'm actually reppin the Ace Deuce, Cap'n Crunch, but I figure the ol' english D is a better known symbol of the region. Or maybe I should just say I'm from where Arethra Franklin's giant fucking ass has polluted the air for too many years, and Kid Rock continues to do the same with his (excuse for) music. At least we can claim Bear Vs. Shark though... Love Moneen, Canada represent! Moneen - kicked ass, never heard of them, but they were awesome I don't really like Moneen. At one point during the set, Chris messed up his guitar line and Eben looked at him at laughed. weeooo weeooo weeooo weeooo.. That was one of the worst fucking reviews i've ever seen yeah they are and it blows does anyone know if tbs is playing message in a bottle at all on this tour? I listend to Can't Slow Down again tonight....for being shit....it's catchy and inventive shit....now I remember why I liked 'em...ahhh nostalgia....my one true plague... I liked saves the day until i heard about chris blowing himself. I never would have done it if i had known he could do it himself. Lazy bastard. This score is for head. In the middle of the Saves the Day set Chris started blowing himself. It was wierd and really disturbing! more like saves the ghey. so ghey, they deserve their own spelling. This score is for moneen. yeah, you guys are real assholes. katie you amaze me....and all of you internet fucks can suck a turkey dog. Katie kicks everyone's ass from here to eternity. She's so hardcore, I can't handle it Boys and Girls! Number 1 summer jam! Good Charlotte!!! icapped2pac, which part of Detroit are you from? "And since when did it become so cool to make your music folky?" apparently you can only write music if it's considered cool and not just do whatever the hell you want Imagine anonymoose, a moose that wears a cape and tights and a mask, and he walks up to people, makes fun of them in some way, and proceeds to fly away with his moose action power. Now that is what is needed in the world. I think she meant who was that posing as her. Notice the timeframe between her question and Jesse's post. some douchebag anonymouse kid that can't take the time to register or at least mark his name at the bottom of his comment. oh well, i don't expect anything better from the punknews community. man. there is a lot of hostility here. who made the post two down from this one? Why do we always hurt the ones we love? Oh GOD...look dude, do you know how lame it is when you try to be cool by listing bands you know on here....youre not impressing anybody so get over yourself. teenybopper ass eh?? hmm i never knew arab on radar, curisve, the locust, lightning bolt, the new trust, the velvet teen, minus the bear, alkaline trio, bob dylan, blood brothers, the ghost, and the weakerthans were teenybopper music. thanks for letting me know. i'll have to make a note of that for future reviews. Is it true they hand out free Kleenex to the crowd on this tour?? hands down moneen is the best band on this tour Not a bad review, although I admit I too would like to have read what else STD played. I'm just wondering how long it will be before they completely abandon Through Being Cool like they did Can't Slow Down. I know, "they're maturing as a band blah blah blah", but seriously, that new single is one of the worst songs I've heard this year. And since when did it become so cool to make your music folky? I always wondered how the Indigo Girls still sell records, and now I know that it must've been my former favorite emo-punk bands snatching that shit up. Can't you just picture Chris from STD in a little quilted skirt sitting in his room listening to the Indigo Girls? He probably has his nuts tucked between his legs like Buffalo Bill, too. Moneen, emo/punk? Are you seriously retarded? Moneen is neither emo or punk, but your teenybopper ass likes to classify them as that. anyone hear Saves the Days new album. I never had so much fun making fun of an album god i hate when a band's stage presence isnt tastefull if you think "your" a pretentious asswipe, "your" probably right. if you think these bands are good, shoot your dumb 15 year old teeny bopper self in the face. |
