I must admit that the first time I listened to this album I didn't really like all that much. It just all sounded the same to me! I listened to it again and again, and now I would have to say that it is one of my favorite albums, and by far my favorite Sick Of it All album. This is a hardcore album, but it has great melodies, and the singers voice sounds better than ever.

I just read a review of this cd in Maxim, and the reviewer said that there wasn't a single song that you could hum along to! Bull! I find myself walking around and singing every song on this cd. Mabye if I had only listened to this cd once like that reviewer, I would agree with him. I saw sick of it all play live about a month ago and they were awesome live, and the songs on this cd played out great live. Buy this cd, and don't judge it by the first listen!

Like I did on my comment for Agnostic Front's 'Victim in Pain' album, I am recanting my previous comment here as I sounded like one of those beatdown hardcore guys, criticising something that isn't hard enough and bragging about my tattoos. For that I recant and apologise. This is a good album and it's always good to see bands change things up abit.

Average album. A few good song here and there but does not match up to any other SOIA albums, and this is coming from a motherfucker with a SOIA tattoo. But I can see why people would like it, it isn't horrible, just not anywhere near special.

one of SOIA's slower albums, but great melodies and the vocals sound awesome

Anyone else noticed that in the video for district, the world trade center gets destroyed?

I have to say that although it is a slight stray from the old, who cares, this album kicks some serious ass. It's still got the hardcore feel but it also has melody which you don't see much from a band like Sick Of It All.

Even thought this Cd is a slight departure from the older days and there is a horrible horrible song that starts with an AC/DC kind riff, this cd is still better than the newest piece of shit that Agnostic Front put out. Yeah thats right

tphbbpppthththhbbppppth utter shit they reviewed it in Maxim?

    Anonymous (May 27, 2001)

I agree. While a slight departure from previous work, it's still a force to reckoned with.

I have to admit, this is probably my favorite SOIA album too. I've been listening to these guys for about 7 years now and haven't been disappointed yet. Hell, I even dug "Call to Arms",which many fans consistantly shit on. Go see them live, get the album or fuck off.
