It was no lie that Anti Flag wanted to give back to their fans on this tour. The venue they played this time around was a small bar called Top Cats with a capacity of about 300. The stage was a foot high, a backstage was non existant and the lighting, well there really wasn't any...but none of that matters because this is the perfect place for a punk show. Hahahahaha. WTF??? PIB sux...Anti-Flag ruleZ! Yeah. PIB sux big time. Hahaha. hahahahaha...loserz...You know what??? All these "punk" bands SUCK! BELGA IS THE BEST BAND IN THE WORLD!!! HAHA!!! BELGA RULEZ!!! BELGA!BELGA! BELGA! BELGA! BELGA! BELGA! BELGA! BELGA! BELGA! BELGA! BELGA! BELGA! BELGA! BELGA! BELGA!BELGA! And it's not crappy punk! It's kewl....and NOT punk. haha. Bye loZers... this was a great show and they opened with "no borders, no nations." i think someone may have already said that though. top cat's is a great venue. the people were dicks on a few occasions but hey....no venue is perfect. all the bands rocked. i disagree with the reviewer about pipedown. they weren't as good as thought riot, paint it black, or anti-flag, but that doesn't mean they weren't good. great show though. i had a lot of fun. www.cincypunk.com blah blah blah THe carpenter's were from the 70's hippies were from the 60's, get your shit straight! Paint It Black are great live. Lots of energy. I saw them play with Dillinger Four a few months back in Chicago. Whoo! They should've had an empty hole for justin sane to fall through once again. Hopefully, this time the rest of Anti-Flag can join him and let's pray they don't come out. I had a seething hatred of Anti Flag before I heard 911 for Peace but after, it grew a thousand times. That song is shitty in every sense of the word and sounds like some kind of weird Carpenters/hippie shit. donkey punch refers to the sexual maneuver in which, during anal sex, the person who has their dick in the other person's butt punches them in the back of their head as they orgasm. it sounds like a donkey, or something. "punching? you mean at the A-F show? or just punching in general?" Hmmm....Dan Yemin looks like Henry Rollins, interesting. punching? you mean at the A-F show? or just punching in general? What the hell is with the punching? Well the second one was an old one, fuck police bruatality "their new album is insanely good and anyone who thinks they suck needs to take a good long listen before ever saying so again." I just noticed what the reviewer said about the first song in Anti-Flag's set. And for anybody who cares at all, it was "No Borders, No Nations". Definatley not an old one. But hey, we all screw up sometimes this review was fucking terrible, period. The show was fuckin awesome period. I saw this show in Indianapolis and I would pretty much agree with everything the reviewer said, right down to the PA problems. Rocking show, Anti-Flag was awesome.. and I was never much of an Anti-Flag fan until recently, their new album is insanely good and anyone who thinks they suck needs to take a good long listen before ever saying so again. www.cincypunk.com Top Cats is a pretty cool venue. Thistle, Silo the Huskie, The Miranda Sound, and Abigail had a pretty good show, and a good turnout last nite ... Top Cats was almost almost half filled god janelle, I want to donkey punch you!! "Regardless of who played the best set, the order determines the title." I've heard the new pipedown cd, it is fucking awesome, go buy it by any means neccessary "But why did you not mention PIPEDOWN in the title? - they rule. " i can tell when someone has read The Catcher In The Rye inside out when they talk like this: But why did you not mention PIPEDOWN in the title? - they rule. although i sort of wanted to see this show. (used to be a big fan, sorta dissapointed w/ the newer stuff, but still a fan) i didnt feel bad when i didnt show up because of lack of funds. im sure topcats was rocking though, when i saw the Arms there noone did shit.. hopefully they went nuts i can tell when someone has read The Catcher In The Rye inside out when they talk like this: tried to go to this but it sold out... oh well kids complain, thats what they do... I love how everyone thinks Anti-Flag is a joke for standing up for something. What the fuck do you kids do? No, i never said that the lead singer of paint it black was the lead singer of kid dynamite, i said that he was in it, read before you make jack ass comments you below me are a moron. the score is for your idiocy and for anti-flag too. that band is a fucking joke. For the record... to the fella who said paint it black's lead singer was once the singer of kid dynamite is DEAD wrong. how did everyone miss this ?? that band is NONE more black... funny to think.. that poor guy who commented below was at the show watching paint it black and thinking "wow jason shevchuk's new band is awesome" dumb mother fucker you are. Pipedown is really, really good live despite what the reviewer said. Good Job on describing Paint it Black. They rock regardless of your clueless review I went to this in Providence, but didn't review it solely for the fact that I wouldn't have been able to give song titles for the first three bands. Maybe it's just me, but I think A LOT of people on this site would care to know just what off CVA was played. Hmm, what about RPM, or FUB, or BBTBA, or Blaze, or NMDS, or etc. I'd also like to give a score for Paint It Black. They would have album of the year if Exit English wasn't so ridiculously good. You mean to tell me that the guy that reviewed this concert has never heard of kid dynamite before? That's where the lead singer from PIB is from. paint it black seriously needs to come to the midwest. im pissed because i think i lost my PIB cd. I'm happy because i can download it. paint it black are great. anti-flag is a walking self-parody that embodies every bad punk rock cliche. anti flag is alright. #2 really rips but he does an awful lot of preaching. oh well. score is also for PIB which i will miss their performance today. I was at this show as well. It was funny when Anti-Flag managed to catch a moniter on fire after only one song on stage. Then came #2's great comment. "We're too punk for moniters. Do you know who is not punk? People who use moniters" comedy, political issues, and kick ass music throughout the whole set. One of my favorite shows of the year, easily Anti Flag signing autographs....sounds kinda weird, doesn't it? This score is for PIB, get with it kids. Ant-Flag....that doesn't mean anti the AMERICAN flag, does it? |
