Sixty StoriesSixty Stories: Anthem RedAnthem Red (2003)Smallman Records Reviewer Rating: 3.5 Contributed by: MeganMegan (others by this writer | submit your own) Sixty Stories is a trio out of Canada fronted by a powerful female voice. Jo Snyder's deep vocals are distinctive and draw you into their recent album, "Anthem Red." Bassist Sarah Sangster adds complementary harmonies that soften up the sound nicely. It's a catchy full length, twelve songs in for.
Sixty Stories is a trio out of Canada fronted by a powerful female voice. Jo Snyder's deep vocals are distinctive and draw you into their recent album, "Anthem Red." Bassist Sarah Sangster adds complementary harmonies that soften up the sound nicely. It's a catchy full length, twelve songs in forty minutes. Pop punk with hard crashing drums and a refreshing taste of keyboards and organ splashing throughout to lighten everything up a bit and bring the dance. And let's be honest, these days, it's all about who can bring the most dance. Please login or register to post comments. What are the benefits of having a Punknews.org account?
well they have some talent the synth is from like pro tools or something so they have to play with it so they're fairly tight, but they're not interesting live Sixty Stories aren't too bad live. I saw them out in BC last December and they were alright. sixty stories are awesome This actually came out in 2002 on Smallman, and 2003 on Hopeless. And if anyone cares, the drummer was in Painted Thin. chick sounds like a guy, they're boring live too. kinda funny while opening for modest mouse in winnipeg their drummer made it clear to the audience that he doesn't like modest mouse... sweet man I reviewed this record a couple months ago elsewhere. Nothing to write home about. that must have been justin. your right brah, think of the power we will hold if we combine our efforts. |

I saw them months and months ago and sadly their jingles for shitty roads and margerine were better than their songs
