This is already a pretty famous album, and to my knowledge it has not made it to any store yet. However, due to the wonders of the internet and piracy I found myself with a copy of 13 song album. To those of you who have not paid any attention whatsoever, this album hasn't been published yet because of the offensive title and the pictures within. With song titles such as "Nazi White Trash", "Gay Rude Boys", and "Atheist Anthem"... I honestly didn't know what to expect. The first song, "Homeo Apathy 9th & C-1" is a complete hardcore song, that reminds me of some of those stupid speed metal bands (to those who like speed metal - I meant to offend you). Thinking the entire album would be like that, I prepared for track two. I was very surprised to hear a ... well, a very odd ska type song in "Nazi White Trash". The odd shit continues. The fourth track, "The Good, The Bad, and the LoC" sounds like a duet between the normal lead singers and.. Jello Biafra. Yes, I'm serious. There are some other good songs on there, "No Mercy" reminds me of a song that might come off NOFX's "Fuck the Kids" or "Surfer" (only with a bit more hard sounding vocals). Listening to this album, this band... for the first time, I can honestly say it was like listening to a mixed compilation. Still, it's not bad and I give the music itself a 6. It would probabaly grow on me if I continued to listen to it. I give their sense of humor a 5, but I give them a couple extra points just because they're being censored, and as a punk I'm supposed to believe censorship is bad. Which I do. Anyway, to sum it up - if you're a fan of the old Leftover Crack, you'll probabaly like this album. While I've never heard their old stuff, this album is very hard and not poppy (although very weird at some times), and so I can make the assumption their old stuff was like that too. One of my favorite albums ever. leftover crack is the shit I love the crack all their music is great to me... Stza is a god yeah who ever was talking about biafra, just to throw at you man jello had a fucking lisp...yeah yeah yeah. where the fuck did u get jello biafra from? This album is amazing, yus the review sucks. Choking victim rule! i think leftover crack are improving on stuff they did with choking victim and i prefer leftover crack- check out the new album- fuck world trade on household names, which is cool. Also check out some more bands in the crack rock steady 7 if u like leftovercrack- INDK, morning glory, no cash.Leftover crack rule i saw them at wasted 2004, go see them next month at the garage in london! peace i saw LOC live bout 3 weeks ago at the mean fiddler in london, UK! it was amazing, they played loadsa stuff, 500 channels, gay rudeboys, athiest antem, crack rock staedy, and suicide! i sliced up my hand on some guys jaket but i ddnt care! this review is um............ SHIT! the guy who wrote it knows fuck all bout LOC or the music they play, ONLY REVIEW STUFF IF YOU LIKE THE BAND DICKHEAD! otherwise your just going to piss a wehole lot of people off. fuck the guy who wrote the review! any way (im not sure if its mediocore genrica or rock the 40 oz) is the b-side to no gods no managers, its all the song that ddnt make it on!, loc rule, so do indk and morning g the score is for the fucking retard that wrote the review, u dont know shit bout' music, go listen avril lavigne... Your review sucked. No one sounds like jello biafra. And also, even though a couple people have already straightened this up; The only difference between Choking Victim and Leftover Crack is the drummer, same band different drummer. Anyway this album is ingenius. Yeah this album was great. I agree with the guy below me, there is too much shit on some of the tracks that kinda ruin the songs. Old LOC???? What the fuck are you talking about? Old LOC... IS Choking Victim. Choking Victim still exists.. they're called Leftover Crack. You see LOC live, and what does their set mainly consist of... that's right, Choking Victim songs. They're not "covering" those songs, they are THEIR songs. Fuckholes. (i'm kidding, you're not fuckholes). leftover crack are a very good band and this album is wikit. I hate when people that know nothing about a band review albums. Like this guy. It seems the reviewer knows very litte of old LOC or Choking Victim. I'll admitt most of the songs on this are much better on Rock the 40oz, and Born to Die was ruined, but LOC is a great band. All of Choking Victims stuff was amazing and old LOC was just as great. Man, I don't know what the fuck you guys are talking about...loc is feckin awesome. Even better live tho. The best part about the live shows is that they play a lot of their cv songs. Fuck america, Hate your state, etc. Even fuckin infested! I swear loc is gonna be so damn kick ass and I'm looking forward to many more years of crack smokin good muzak! Rock the 40 oz bizatches! And shoot the kids at school for what they do or have done to you! From the songs i have from this cd i know what to expect, Choking Victim was really good and leftover crack is really good too, i've never seen them live since they never made it down here back when CV was together, but leftover crack is finally coming this way, hopefully they don't break up before the cd comes out and the tour starts, that would be screwed up what the fuck are u talking about with the 'odd ska song'?!!?!?!?!? THIS IS CHOKING VICTIM!!!! they are a fucking ska band. they just have a few hardcore songs...oh yeah dam good cd. not quite as good as CV but what the hell. The new album: Mediocre Generica (real name of the album ) was released on MP3 today. If you like choking victim, you will most likely enjoy this. I, aside from the overly hardcore and shitty sounding songs, like the album terrible, terrible band. great name, but a terrible, terrible band. I don't find what the big hype around this album, it's not that great and its not even very offensive. Go listen to Anal Cunt if you want offensive. leftover crack, just like choking victim are one of the most creative, cool bands in punk. they mix many styles and have great lyrics/vocals. anyone who doesnt like them is clearly a moron, or just doesnt like 'good' music. Mr. Reviewer, you got the wrong picture for the cover, the one on the right is from LC's demo. Also, you could have thought of more original adjectives than odd and hard, and maybe listened to some Choking Victim stuff to gain perspective. FEAR is the punkest band ever! leftover crack is one of the worst bands ever, but i have to give them a good rating, just for being offensive and for having the best name in the scene. I have to admit it, offensive or not this CD really isn't that good, you can just spend you money buy a Circle Jerks, Fear, Black Flag or Dead Kennedys record. It's an alright album, but nothing special. hey jackass shows how much you know as this isnt their first recording, they had a 7" entitled Rock the 40oz and it is old leftover crack, choking victim broke up a while ago and leftover crack has been a band for well over 2 years. the 'shoot the kids at school' album, or the new name whatever, is actually old leftover crack in itseld considering its been recorded for well over a year. good thinking. ahh yes the old Leftover Crack...being this is their first album and all..I think censorship should be instituted on this board being idiots like this get to review things. Also the Album isn't going to be called "shoot the kid at school" genius. And it's not that their sense of humor is bad, it's just they've done a lot more drugs than you, and they're alot smarter than you. Oh and they suck balls live, i saw 'em a couple weeks ago.
