The Code / Whatever It TakesSplit (2003)A-F Records Reviewer Rating: Contributed by: KirbyPuckett (others by this writer | submit your own) Published on March 26th 2004
Recently Esquire magazine rated Pittsburgh, PA as #1 in their poll of “Cities That Rock” within the United States. Many of us Yunzers were confused by this achievement. First off, New York and Los Angeles were not included on the scale, but how did we still manage to beat out Cincinnati, Denver, Minneapolis, New Orleans and San Francisco?

they broke up!....sucks They broke up right after i found out about them. I wanna say last fall? when did whatever it takes break up? kirby and poopy: scores for the pens. ryan malone went to my highschool and played on a line w/ one of my friends! Adam, what kind of surprise? ;-) Score's for the Pittsburgh Penguins. They're coming on... Might not even finish in last! hey sup adam, this is paul. scores for pittsburgh... Anyone that likes WIT songs such as "Lips Surrendered", "Write for your Life", or "Post-Marked Yesterday" is in for one hell of a suprise later this year. anyone know of a site where i could hear mp3s of either of these bands? im hesitant to buy something solely on reviews without hearing it at all I have yet to pick this disc up, though I am sure I will. It's used 2 blocks from me, so if I am wise I'll max out my VISA 6 dollars more before it's too late. Toonscribe, IM me on "KirbyPuckett" and I'll hook you up. It's a solid album. I really like both bands, and I hold with the above the WIT is way better than A-F and it's a shame they are gone. They're double-album disc (Fistful/Stars) is a bit too emo compared to this disc, where they are in their prime (Not to say the LP/EP is bad). Kirby and Poopy: i dont understand how you guys can actually like these bands. there's a lot better music out there guys and gals. dont settle for these fucknuts. Larry arms, rise against, local h, alkaline trio, the ghost... damnit, just listen to that Oil Comp. THats only the tip of the iceberg. Chicago owns. I was at CompUSA during the Caddies show. Just like I'm sitting here again w/ my thumb up my ass because there's no business but the Mates of State are playing a show soon. GRR. did you go to the caddies show? it was awesome. i went to dee's bar in the southside afterwards w/ sacha and the 2 horn guys and got really really drunk. chuck went to bed early and the bass player chilled w/ his girlfriend on the bus. i have no clue where the drummer went i live in oakland, south bouquet st. , 4 min. walk from laga Who did they mention from Chicago? Mr. Poopy, The Code fucking rule. I can't wait to see them with The Suicide Machines and Against All Authority Sunday. i'm from pittsburgh, yea, wit was the shit. damn shame they broke up, better than anything anti flag ever did. hwm comparison is dead on, with more youthful energy and poppiness (but not pop punk). looking forward to seeing hte code w/ the suicide machines in may. see you there kirby. yo kirby, where do you live? | Features
