Grey Flight Records returns to the fold with this, a 5-song EP from Thousand Oaks, CA quartet Respira. Recorded by the famed J. Robbins, Respira delivers a good 25 minutes of brooding-yet-hooky indie rock, with an emphasis on the rock. Please login or register to post comments. this sounds promising. very promising and to the dude i hate the very narrow view ppl have on Emo/screamo. I know the genre is overly popullated now butthere are still bands here and there doing their own thing. anyways this album seems very promising and the name is great. Respira= Breathe in spanish. Forgive the repetitiveness, but Respira rock! I worte a review for this release as well. It's at the link below: Dude, it's only 5 bucks at greyflight.com. No excuse. oh. god. damnit. another fucking band i like now. i do not have the money to buy all these damn CDs, scott. Wow, I just visited punknerd.com and some dweeb bought the domain for his LiveJournal. I'm a nerd, so I miss Julie of Grey Flight's punknerd.com. that mp3 is pretty good once it picks up toward the middle they put on a pretty good live show...They randomly played here in Fredericksburg a month or two back... These guys are not punk.....they played at my high school a few years ago.....i was yawning. that was directed towards the first person not the engine down comment person, sorry You had me at "Engine Down". I'm checkin these guys out for sure. LOL Thousand Oaks? My shitty town...this place sux....I've never heard of these guys but most of the shit my town churns out is pure emo/screamo crap. |
