You know this band, there’s one in every scene. They’re that Pop-Punk band with the catchy songs, all the girls love ‘em, and all the guys claim to be friends with at least one of them. They’ve made it in the local scene and had it still be 2000 instead of 2004 Brodie would be destined for national success.

This is the biggest bullshit review I have ever read. This is what is wrong with the music scene today. You take a good, solid, completely indipendant band who worked hard enough to record a cd with no help from a label, and some dickhead who obviously could not cut it in a band reviews the cd and gives it a poor score. Cheers to Brodie for an awesome full length, Jeers to the idiot who reviewed it. What a shame. Why all the hate? I saw them open for Flogging Molly. That's about the best thing I can say about this band. i don't think it's the best pop-punk album of all time, but life in general was really fucking good. it's really disappointing how things have continued to go downhill ever since, but i fucking loved that band for a time. i don't think its fair to lump them into the same bag as homegrown or simple plan or mest, because none of those bands ever did much that was worthwhile, whereas mxpx had a few really good years. as long as we (were) debating mxpx, im throwing in my bit. they were fucking great. life in general was (and still is) absolutly fucking the best pop-punk album of all time. ever since then things have been going downhill. oh also, this band sucks. yeah actually, this review is great. if you read it and still don't know exactly what they sound like, you're not too bright. "this review is horrible. I have no idea what this CD is supposed to sound like" to be honest, although they do have a sound that was popular five years ago, i liked the sound then, and i still do today, i loved this cd and i think brodie is great, my ex-girlfriend actually ordered their first mp3.com demo thing... i still got it lying around my apt. Um..I'm not exactly a big fan of Brodie either, but this review is horrible. I have no idea what this CD is supposed to sound like. heh, anyone remember when these guys were kings of mp3.com? Looks like that was really helpful. the skies were burning on that day brodie is worse than hitler. Comedy gold. no, old mxpx sucked too. i admit liking them in 7th grade, but that doesn't mean they were good. ahahhaahahahhaahahahah Maybe they listened to old MxPx. That was good. Even I won't touch this. speaking of brody - jersey girl was a major disappointment I'm from seattle as well, and I hope they die in some horribly tragic manner. This band is horrible. They are from Seattle, my home town, and have absolutley nothing to contribute to the music scene. They have no originality, and they don't even play generic pop punk well (which, let's face it, isn't that difficult to do). This band (and others like it) are a cancer to the independent music community. Kirby, I'm surprised you are even able to read the liner notes with your bad eye and all. Kudos to you. Brody is no a whore, slut...etc, Brody is callow. "hell hath no fury like a woman's scorn for sega" Brody saved "Mallrats". He and Banky should make out, since Banky's gay and all... Brody was an avid comic collector. Come on, we need some "Brody is a whore, slut, junky..." jokes... |
