In 2002 Mclusky released possibly the most kickass hardcore album of the new century with infuckingcredible "Mclusky Do Dallas". It had killer riffs, hilarious and smart lyrics, and was generally about ten pounds of attitude in a five pound bag. So I was highly anticipating their follow-up. i think these guys are from canada ... thus making them cool if you need a band to compare them to, i'd say nirvana or the pixies I downloaded a song by Mclusky and it didnt sound like hardcore. More like loud rock n roll. who do they sound similar to? that's what i want to know. Unless you're in Alk3 it's pretty lame to be using their name. Things that I have learned today: hey this is for the anonymous dumbshit who dissed my nickname. alkaline trio fucking rocks, unlike taking back sunday or whatever you compared it to. and i don't need help picking up chicks you fucking loser. i really need to hear this. this band is too good. one of the best records of the year. i think its better than "do dallas." their live show is one of the best ive ever seen. everyone needs this record Those two videos I saw on The Punk Show were great. "Great album, but Mclusky Do Dallas is a little better, if only because it has Lightsabre Cocksucking Blues" The intro reads like a press release. Great album, but Mclusky Do Dallas is a little better, if only because it has Lightsabre Cocksucking Blues This score is for the reviewer's name "alkalinetrio0087." Boring review, score is for the record's name. Is your big brother in the band or something? Jesus Christ. |
