My friends and I got to House of Blues just before the first opening band, From First To Last, began playing. From what I'd heard I was pretty sure I wasn't going to like these guys, however it was good to see that plenty of people there knew the words to their songs and were totally into them. I don't know any of their songs so I couldn't tell you what they played, but I know they played about seven or eight songs, clocking in at about 30 minutes. That was 30 minutes of 5 dudes squeezed into girl's blue-jeans playing slower paced "screamo" (I guess you would call it.) To give you a mental picture, the band was very energetic, with the guitarists jumping from here to there on the stage and the lead singer prancing around with weird little steps, very interactive with the crowd. Oh yeah, and the lead singer made some comment about him being only 16, but I think he was joking, I don't know. For fans of this type of music, I guess you would really enjoy one of their sets. little late, but best i've seen br live... The 2nd day DVD shoot was a blast, I especially liked the encore. The stripped down piano version of cease was a great moment , a definite highlight. I went to their 2nd day DVD shoot in LA fucken awesome. Instead of From First To Last, TSOL was added to the bill and they were damn good and between songs made some comments about being dissappointed that no one jumped the camera crane and a joke about morissey throwing "man pudding" into his crowds. I just saw them here in Chicago, and I dont think they played as many songs as you listed. Oh well still a fucking great show. Most underrated song is "Hooray For Me." I'll burn like a roman fuckin' candle!!! shit, fuck yeah! can' t wait till the 16 of November...BAd REligion in AZ!!! Great Review! yo yo yo yo dude, i JUST got my confirmation e-mail from merch.com about the Exile In Oblivion CD, so I don't think mine is gonna be here tomorrow. It said it shipped today. going to see them on Wednesday in Toronto I better get my autographed copy of "exile in oblivion" tomorrow (Tuesday) or i'll be plenty pissed off. The new strung out is awesome!!!! 'Crook you've turned into one sour geordie bitch... WHY' crooked super hero, does tim scream at all when he is on stage with BR? Yeah, Turn On The Light is one of my favorite BR songs by far. Yeah, I went to thier Norfolk show.... It was off the chain.... and to those that say bad Religion is boreing their what most of the shity that YOU listen to is based on. Bad Religion could put me to sleep there are way more underrated songs than "turn on the light." i can't think of any right now, but there are. crooked super hero, Turn on the Light is the most underrated Bad Religion song ever. Discuss. wow what a show, Goddammit, I need to get my Log In to work. I did register on this site; I wrote reviews for both Pulley and Sunny Day Real Estate. i'm glad punknews installed Spell Check in the comments section. I mean, I don't know where I'd be in life without it. wow what a show, I don't see the point for a bass when there's three guitars. "definitely" for fucksakes it's d e f i n i t e l y. man i've only seen BR at warped and that sucked, they didn't, but it coulda/shoulda been better. Hahah, I sort of feel bad for the guy who cited 20 Bad Religion lines. Score is for the fact that this tour kills and I'm missing it. 28 songs?! Wow. i went to see this show as well Wow, how awesome is that show. I am so jealous right now do rise against play "alive and well" live anymore? I went to the d.c. show. I think we got 28 songs too. Very similar to this setlist. They played for about 90 minutes. Absolutely amazing. You guys who haven't seen them yet should be in for a treat as they play tons of old songs. 28 songs?! Wow. that's so awesome! i'm going to see them next week too. i am even more stoked after reading your review!! I am so incredibly pissed that this tour isn't hitting Cleveland. Score is for that. That BR setlist is fucking incredible. I can't wait to see Bad Religion in Chicago! |
