It’s always nice when a band comes up with an interesting concept for their album. Concept albums can be pretty lame if the subject matter can’t even hold the listener’s attention. Endicott definitely came up with an interesting concept for “The Words In Ink Don’t Lie.” The album is based around a kidnapping, but rather than follow one person’s experience, the lyrics are written from the perspective of the kidnapper, the victim, and the victim’s family.

Ok i was just looking on back on old bands and i happen to pop up here. Endicott..nothing new but its pretty good. Also EV is nothing like victory...sure they are a somewhat hardcore label like victory..but EV bands are MUCH better than some of the crap on Victory (Execpt for some..like Comeback Kid) and i respect EV production work much more than Victory's. Hell im a fan of most Equal Vision bands. anyways Endicott deserve something. hey what's up dudes? 3 points??? I like this record, ok it's not a revolution but a cool screamo record! I would really like to support this band, they are from my town, but I can't do it. the recording quality did it for me, i stopped listening to this after three songs. I thought it was alright. nothing really special, but it sounded good. Total snoozefest. Equal Vision is the new Victory. this band ripped off a this day forward riff. verbatim. see if you can find it. the cascade ep was a phenomenal release from endicott. dont let this shitstain of a cd ruin it for you, they had a completely different, sound that actually did push the boundaries of hardcore. sounds like nothing else, an amazing at the same time. soulseek it, its out there. TDF were great. highly underated as has been mentioned. This score is for tubesocks on hot chicks The score is for This Day Forward's late stuff. And all their stuff. "Except late This Day Forward was highly underrated, quickly dismissed because most of their fans freaked out over the progression" a friend of mine told me that this band sounded like the bronx and that they were supposed to be really good. so i bought it, listened to it, and wanted to blow my brains out. fuck this bullshit. it's not music. it's bullshit. I saw them live like six months ago, had never heard of them before. They were really good but now that I've heard their mp3s I don't feel the same way about them. Good concept with bad music? I'd say the same thing about Say Anything. Except late This Day Forward was highly underrated, quickly dismissed because most of their fans freaked out over the progression. In Response was a really good encore for them I thought. | Features
