Ok let me start off by saying, This is the only material I have ever heard by this band EVER. I had heard a lot of people talk about this band recently and all of the comments were positive so i thought what the hell...so I went and bought the "with matches lit EP.

This took some real getting used to, I dont mean that in a bad way...they have a very original sound...you can catch some hints of Small Brown Bike and even some RFTC also (don't ask). It took about 3 or 4 listens to actually get into this...At first I thought they were hardcore from all of the talk about them and the many many hardcore bands they have toured with. But that didnt seem to be the case.

This is definitey something different to hear which is good this day in time, because you dont find many bands with a trademark sound...but this band has it, and you cant really classify them into a certain genre which is also cool because it leaves something for the imagination as well, so i guess you can classify them as anything you would like I myself put them under the kick ass section. Good EP takes some getting used to, But worth the $9.99 all the way.
