The Holy ShroudGhost Repeaters (2005)Level Plane Records Reviewer Rating: Contributed by: Brian (others by this writer | submit your own) Published on March 29th 2005
Initially, I had Halifax, Canada's the Holy Shroud pegged as another competent player on the latest team of expert At The Drive-In ripoffs, defunct and otherwise (see: Brazil, Despistado). Upon further listening, however, I came to realize that though the band's mid-paced indie rock does carry obvious similarities in places, there's a little more going on beyond the surface.

this reviewer sucks, he probably listens to bands like my chemical romance or some shit Easily one of the worst reviews I've ever seen in my life. This cd is nothing short of amazing. My favorite of 2005 so far. I should probably mention I'm a huge fan of the ATDI sound. This was a brutal review and missed the point entirely. Dude, what do you expect. The kid still thinks Rufio and Fall Out Boy are punk. And don't give some "Look, you can't tell me what punk rock is and isn't" speech full of BS. The fact of the matter is, you like some pretty terrible bands that have nothing but a passing interest in what punk rock is. Primevil, seriously, that's unexcusable. I've never heard any level plane artist. Perhaps I should. | Features
