I was not expecting too much when I bought this album, it was my birthday and someone offered me 3 CD’s and I don’t know why I picked this one, lucky me. Well, I can’t stop reviewing classic albums, and this one is a classic, one of my favorites of all times, a masterpiece. Bad Religion opens this album with a nice song, “Change of Ideas” is a short song, very creative with great lyrics. Good opening for the album, it gives you the idea of what the album is gonna sound. After Change of Ideas and the second song Big Bang comes a amazing song, No Control. This song is definitely one of the best songs in this album, a different style is used, great lyrics and alternativity between guitars. This song is followed by Sometimes I feel like, and Automatic Man (masterpiece) which prepares the audience for the next song, a big hit. "I Want to Conquer the World" is one of the best songs Bad Religion have done, amazing guitar solo (you’ve heard this song). After this song a bunch of great songs come: Sanity, Henchman, It must look pretty appealing, You (this song can drive anyone crazy, it’s one of the best songs I’ve ever heard), Progress (cool choruses), I Want Something More, Anxiety, Billy and finally The World Won’t Stop. This album is not only one of my top 5 of all times but changed my life by opening me to listen to bands like Dead Kennedys, Minor Threat, 2 Minutos and Black Flag. The cover art is primitive, don’t expect too much in this field but what the hell, the music is the important thing and this album has the best “intellectual” music that can be found. This album never gets old. incredible record. and to the moron jackoff who said Bad Religion are simple, i'd like to see him start a band that does guitar solos and 3 part harmonies almost every fucking song. let alone the amazing basswork, Greg's beautiful vocals, and the brilliant lyrics. this is intellectualy music with balls. Umm......This is a great album, and the lead singer ia actually really intelligent, soooooo, yeah. i guess the "punx" like to listen to this because it makes them feel smart, haha a smart punk ,that's a oxymoron best "intellectual" music that can be found? a band with music this simple could never conjure up anything with intelligence. my favorite bad religion record. If this isn't 5 stars, i don't know what is. just got this cd. incredible! though it is better than their new stuff i dunno its a great album but it doesnt compare to suffer and against the grain Great CD by Bad Religion one of their best. shit, I forgot to rate it.... Best 28 minute cd out there. With great songs like "No Control", "Big Bang", and "I Want to Conquer the World" this cd is definitely a great buy. another great bad religion album Klasticono is dead. On that is. No Control is numero uno, with Suffer comin in a close second. a true punk classic already This is the greatest album of all time. I've said it for years and doubt I'll change my mind. A punk concept album about Chaos theory and Entropy, fucking brilliant! Hell this is Bad Religion at their best in my opinion. it is r cool and is r my fav my favorite bad religion album this is my fav from br, especially big band.- fathead All we need is a change of ideas. Awesome album, but it's still behind Against the Grain, Suffer, and Generator. This is a great album - a ton of classics on it. It's not in my Top 5 favorite albums, but only because I have to make room for Against the Grain or Generator. Heh. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I heard the cover art was to kinda make fun of the Janet Jackson album "Control". in your top 5, yet you only give it 4.5 stars? One of the best and most influential punk albums of all time. "I Want to Conquer the World" should be in every Top 5 Punk Songs of All Time list. Simply an amazing record. |
