The major label transfer can be a harsh adjustment for many devoted fans. But when you have someone like Acceptance, there isn’t really a need for a spoonful of sugar to make the medicine go down, because as a fan of the band, it’s what you’ve already been spoon-fed since the act’s inception.

I didn't really like this album. I do really enjoy blacklines to battlefields though. But for some reason this album just lacked any feeling for me, too well produced or something. Good review. This only proves you are a giant asshole, Brian. Acceptance es lo mejor en música, son realmente buenos... me gusta muchísimo ... como dicen Ud. son re cool! I love this BAND!!!! I think that this band had come a long way considering how hard it is to break out in the music world, but this CD is one of the CDS to keep and its really good lets see all you bashers make better music The only song I know off this album is "different," and I love it...its great. good cd....but not too much of it is memorable this band is on a major? how exactly do bands get on majors before they even really headline decent sized shows? Where did all the street teamers go? these guys have definately gotten a lot better since thier last cd but the cd as a whole is totally like drinking a glass of water, great at the moment but you don't remember anything about it 10 seconds later. i seriously couldn't tell you anything about the cd other than it was decent driving music. very cool cd. Why do people think that a band that can actually write hooks are "bad" or "uninspiring"? Being able to write a good hook that people can remember is far more difficult than just chugging chords for 4minutes. Big ups to Acceptance and I hope they get to where they want to be in the business. remember, if it isn't lawrence arms, dillinger 4, none more black, or against me, it will get trashed. Great Album but you can only play the CD on your computer with the build in program... and you have to use the software that comes on the CD to upload it to your computer. It wont let you upload any of the songs on to Itunes or Musicmatch jukebox which is where I like to upload all my CDs and play them on a master playlist.... now I cant. this record rules. much more relavant than half the PUNK RAWK shit you fags listen to It's really amazing how much some people on this site bash everything that isn't obscure or tough. A good record, but shit's gonna fly when the reel punkkk rawk kid hear "Different" at their soda-company sponsored proms. We dont need a review to know that this band sucks Ive had this CD for about 6 months, and to be honest, when i first hear it i was like, hmm this is going to be some generic pop rock garbage, and i was ready to trash it. But i couldnt bring myself to, I knew what it was, and yet, its possibly one of the best Pop-rock CD's ive heard in a long time. Considering the garbage put out by every band that used to be good, and in turn just sounds the same as everyone else, This is the best new CD in a long time. So yes it is generic pop-rock, but it is fabulous for what it is. I thought these guys were a Jimmy Eat World tribute band the first time I heard them. i'm just gonna point out that saying it is as 'opaque' as the title suggests is wrong, because phantoms are actually transparent, which is the opposite of opaque. very good review, but I disagree with you. I think this album is fantastic Jimmy Eat World needs to sue somebody for this one. I really enjoy Phantoms. You should really give it a chance. "Acceptance, by all accounts, should do very well for themselves. They'll likely sell well, they'll draw decent crowds at shows and will doubtlessly pick up a plush record deal one day soon." this record is not that band, and for what this band is, i think its a positive progression. This record is harmless, but catchy. I wont be buying it, but its nice morning after hang over music.
