Scraps and Heart Attacks had a tenure in the Long Island hardcore scene cut all too short. Their sole full-length, 2003's Still Sick, closed with "Don't F With S," a more complex, adventurous track for the band, one that showed amiable potential for them to grow out of their straightforward but solid sound of a shell and into a unique hardcore outfit gleaming with creative splashes, á la the band's similarly defunct, much compared coast-mates, Give Up the Ghost.

this is such an awesome album!! personally like scraps a tad more ,but beastie boys, metallica, and civ covers are all wicked awesome please don't listen to Goldfinger.... i play drums for how we are, we played right before this is hell. that was such a fun show, both another breath and this is hell are so fucking good. What band are you in? And I was the tall fat dude taking pictures during Names For Graves' set. scott, what do you look like? my band played that show in cleveland as well. that's awesome that you went. I'm missing their show tonight in Syracuse, and I'm pissssed. I just saw this band tonight in Cleveland,. and they ruled it. Can't wait for a full-length. Two reviews in a row with mummies on the album cover? Yes! anchors, if you can't see them in syracuse on saturday, they're playing in rochester on sunday with a number of other cool bands. you should check it out. Just saw this band last week and they were real good. I'm sure this is, too. This band, this EP, and their demo are all absoutely fucking amazing. They rule so much live. I can't wait for a full length. Isnt that the cover for their demo, and not for the EP? Isnt that the cover for their demo, and not for the EP? i didn't really dig SAHA live, especially the singer's pacing with one hand held aloft, asking why we weren't getting into it more (the Backup Plan, on the other hand, were good), but i've heard that TIH is good live...anyone want to confirm or disconfirm this? I should be seeing these guys on Saturday. i haven't heard this cd yet, but i'm seeing these dudes tomorrow in Cleveland and I'm fucking pumped. |
