In a scene where a few screams throughout an album will get you monstrous sales and a plethora of pre-pubescent, tight pant-dawning fans, the Campaign 1984 surely fit in. However, they surely do more than just pick up easily-drawn in fans with tendencies to cross-dress with their independent release Jazz For Burning.

love it! as for the haters on here...fuck you!!!! this band is great!!!! i know these guys, ive seen the guitarist with just his underwear on. their music is great, it comes from the heart. everysong is based on a story from their life. they rock pretentious and fake. if these guys were actually punk instead of redneck dropouts, the music might be better. as it stands, it's little more than a thinly veiled and poorly done ripoff of every time i die and the bronx. don't bother listening. scores for reagan Love this...it's so trashy. i bet they would be great live. still, better than secret lives. Is this review serious? This band is not not not good. saw these guys live earlier this year and i was very impressed. i'll have to check this out. This stuff is so badass - it's nice to hear some dirty rock n' roll and not just something else totally generic. it's especially good to be self-released...can't wait to listen to the whole album! everyone talks about the 'tight-pant' wearing scene, but what about the whole early punk scene? they all wore tight pants. actually everyone wore tight pants back then, maybe the whole us was punk. too bad the scene cant be like that today, it would be cool if so many people liked what is good. The stuff on purevolume sounds pretty awesome. I'll bet they put on a kickin' live show too. But then, I've been known to actually listen to Nashville Pussy so take what I have to say with a grain of salt. Don't care about this, I do like Cap'n Jazz though. |
