Acceptance / the Receiving End of Sirenslive in Long Island (2005)Sony Music Entertainment Reviewer Rating: Contributed by: Brian (others by this writer | submit your own) Published on October 7th 2005
With The Downtown recently shut down, a few of its shows from its planned schedule were moved to the ridiculously named/themed Crazy Donkey. Never having attended a show there, I'd heard some disappointing traits about it, but it wasn't too bad. The stage was only a few inches higher than The Downtown's, and the ceiling only five feet or so higher, with no visible barricade in site.

The recieving end of sirens sounds exactly like Thrice, I dont know how you cant fucking hear it. I don't know how Recieving End Of Sirens sounds anything like Thrice. Where does a comparison like that come from? It helps to be there for the full show when writing a review. so the first two bands were 'strange' and 'confusing'...and your not really a fan of the rest of the bands? kind of a waste of money. "haha...acceptance kicked out their first drummer for being gay, haha...acceptance kicked out their first drummer for being gay, the cartel singer would be closer to aaron carter not nick carter........'idiots' Augustana is infinitely better than a simple "nu-emo" band, that is hardly an accurate description of them. Also, Between The Heart & The Synapse sounds nothing like the last Thrice album. the show was fucking great and by the way the cartel singer would be closer to aaron carter not nick carter........'idiots' Fuck...How many people offed themselves in the middle of the show? I don't really like TREOS at all but the end of "Broadcast Quality" is pretty fucking nice. Am I the only person that thinks of NY hardcore and varsity fonts when I hear the name Acceptance? Why does a name like this get ruined on a lame pop band? | Features
