In 1998, Montreal’s melodic hardcore band and A&M recording artists known as the Doughboys, who had garnered a fair amount of success in the mid-nineties and managed to tour arenas with the Offspring during the alternative music explosion, broke up. The band was made up of two main songwriters, John Kastner and Jonathan Cummins. Kastner went on to form All Systems Go, received all kinds of accolades, full page glossy magazine advertisements and a respectable amount of radio play. Cummins on the other hand more or less faded into obscurity.

About time someone covered this album. "Deliverance is one of the best records of the last five years. It is a shame that the group hasn’t achieved greater success and popularity" What Adam said. Ian Blurton is the most important man in Canadian music. Lofty statement? Yes. But between his work in producing and Change of Heart, Blurtonia, Bionic, and the amazing C'mon, I mean wow, this guy is amazing. And score is for the fact that he's nailing an ex nashville pussy member. too much back story this has Radio all over it. Turn You Out has a very QOTSA feel to it for sure. Comparable to the first track on Songs for the Deaf. I think I'm gonna check this out. Cudos reviewer, if you wanted me to seek this one out, you've made a convincing case. I wouldn't say Blurton is best known for his Weakerthans production, he's quite well known `round thse parts for being AWESOME. too much back story | Features
