Damn these fuckin Canadian bands!!! Most of them are so damn good! (notice I said "most" there is one in particular I wont name) I had been anticipating the arrival of this CD through the mail...and finally got it yesterday.

Let me start off by saying, there are lots of melodic hardcore bands out there today...but I dont know what it is that draws me to Belvedere. Whats weird is the past few records Ive gotten are bands that hail from the great white north. I guess there is something in the water that makes most of the bands kick ass.

"2nd column" is a fucking awesome song...an agressive yet very melodic and fast tune, which continues throughout the entire album...with standout songs: "difference" "airplane" "todd" "male pattern impotence" and others

Ive listened to this about 5 or 6 times now, and it keeps growing on me...I havent heard a melodic hardcore band that hit me so hard since the late 88 fingers louie back in 1994. yeah, thats a GOOD thing.

I dont really know anything about this band, so maybe you guys can help me out with what you might know about them. I just hope these guys keep their edge, because I am looking forward to their stuff in the future.

Anyway, this is a great album and I would recommend it to any punker. You will like it TRUST me.

Belvedere opened for my band in late July, they were okay, maybe they had an off night, but they made my band look really good. That's not too hard. We rock socks off left and right.

    My Score:

These guys are O.K. I can't really distinguish between these guys and the hundreds of other strung-out wannabe bands out there. I didn't really like them too much the times I saw them play. I'd really have to give this a thumbs firmly in the middle.
