I absolutely loathe the word pretentious. I wish I could wipe it from the collective vernacular of anyone I know who listens to music, because a good majority of the time, people use it in place of “bad” because they’re too dim-witted to think of anything else, and figure they’ll sound intelligent if they drop pretentious into a conversation.

The title is from the beginning of the first chapter of Revelation. It's definitely worth a listen if you're in the mindset for something different. They performed at our local skatepark last year and were the best band that I've seen ever to play there (and I've been going there for 5 1/2 years). It's definitely a good show and album. I didn't think the title was pretentious, I thought it was kind of funny cause there's no way this album has anything to do with church's in asia. If it did, then I would be impressed to the nth degree. All kidding aside, that title is pretty pretentious. | Features
