awesome album, if cant apreesh, then that's your own fault nothing amazing..i hear this sota shit a dime a dozen..though i would gladly take a look at the lyrics and try to fully comprehend them...but otherwise...a sub par 4 the guy below me is an idiot. needs more ring modulation, not pitchshifting. hey, i just stumbled upon this and i really appreciate the kind review! i did want to clarify, however, that we're not breaking up any time soon, and that the lineup that wrote and recorded this album recorded two other songs, one of which will be out soon on the emo apocalypse comp and the other of which will be out a little later as a split 7" with peter & craig. aside from that, the touring lineup is recording another new song in about two weeks for an anti-sexism comp, and the new lineup is practicing and writing new material and probably touring in august with daniel striped tiger. Read into the band before putting up your review. This is co written by the guy in the holy fucking spirit and a petal fallen. If that doesnt do it for you.... They have a new album out on slave union soon!! Actually, that mp3 was total crap! It's not even music in my opinion. Song is pretty nice. That mp3 didn't do it for me. ok i typed that last comment like retard i know...sorry this cd is good...... the descriptioni nt he review is pretty accu rate but this isnt run of the mill stuff.....its def. diffierent than coc and envy... i hear many other influences like off minor(steve roche produced it) and la quite its also not that screamy and the vocals change up alot..........and yes the recording quality is not the greatest Whoa that's a pretty bonkers URL Fuck that, I'll take the surf pyramids any day "this band sucks the review was obviously written by a friend of the band." combine the epic, bold thrust of post-rock beauty with the stripped down, raw, intense, emotion of hardcore emo this band sucks the review was obviously written by a friend of the band. just reminds me of i hate myself....meh Reminds me of Silent HIll...fuckin' pyramid heads. does the album have the sound quality of the mp3? so many bands have this sound, this is just more appealing to the kids who only listen to Circle Takes the Square and City of Caterpillar. Ok, so I read the review again and maybe it wasn't that vague... Gotta stop skimming... I like it. But whats with the vague reviews lately that really don't tell what the band sounds like at all? That was not what I was expecting really at all. Nice review, Brian. I'm going to have to track down a copy of this. Oh boy. Boring slow paced "melodic yet edgy!" music with generic terrible vocals. If this whole thing sounds like that mp3, then fuck this shit. wow combine the epic, bold thrust of post-rock beauty with the stripped down, raw, intense, emotion of hardcore emo These cock tease, non-rocking, sassy art-spazz bands with some guys vomitting all over their microphones doesn't really do it for me. What you call amazing, I call a headache. well, i'm gonna have to check this shit out. oh god this band is so good. |
