Coming at the listener with a furious combination of drums, bass, and violin (yeah, violin!) Skeletonbreath is truly one of the most original bands not only in the instrumental scene, but the music scene in general. Their sound is described as self-proclaimed "Halloween dance music." Imagine if the Devil himself was a breakdancer. Skeletonbreath would be the righteous jams spewing out of his hellish boom-box.

Jesus Hell. They played a couple times at my school -- Bennington in VT -- and they're straight out amazing. Really accomplished musicians whose music is like an instrumentalized mosh pit -- devilishly crazy but tight. I saw them live at the Bowery Ballroom. Their sound is unique and awesome. Who would expect to see head banging to a violin solo? this kinda sounds like crap The mp3s were pretty good, and this album is certainly obscure, so I guess I'll be buying it. I don't know whether that's true or not, but Skeletonbreath rock the fuck out of everything. dude |
