Well, after about 2 years of looking, I finally had my local overpriced music store order this album.

First of all, why is it that the good, talented bands with substance break up, and the mediocre, borderline moronic bands sign giant mega-deals and get their songs played on video games? Does anyone know?

Pivit completely rocks. Very fast southern cali punk with a hint of pop thrown in the mix. All their songs are catchy, but maintain an edge. The only downside to this album is that the drums, especially the hi-hats, seem to overpower even the guitars. I found that if you turn the bass down on your stereo it helps a little. The songs are good enough that it's hard to really notice.

I know the So-Cal sound can grow tiresome at times, but trust me, Pivit is a standout. Too bad they've all but dissappeared from the punk scene. They probably could have been a pretty popular band right about now.

    Pivit - Tell Me lyrics
    Tell Me

People tell me somethings wrong with you
And I know the things they say
Should they could they be so true
And if you wanted me to stay away
Can't you ever find the time
Won't you ever see the day

I know there's something wrong now
can't you tell me If there's something wrong with
you can't you tell me what is true
And if you wanted me to
    Stay so far away
Can't you ever find things and what I felt for you

I know the times have changed and so have you
Will you ever find your life
Will you ever think things through
If you think back to where you messed things up
Will you ever seek some help
    because your so fucking corrupt

I know there's something wrong now
can't you tell me If there's something wrong with
you can't you tell me what is true
And if you wanted me to
    Stay so far away
Can't you ever find things and what I felt for you

And when you think I know it
    brings you down and everything
you say to me now I know things you wanna be
If you wanted me to help you through
Will you ever grab that day
Will you see your life is true

I know there's something wrong now
can't you tell me If there's something wrong with you
can't you tell me what is true
And if you wanted me to
    Stay so far away
Can't you ever find things and what I felt for you
