I don't know why the club is named the Subterranean when the shows are held upstairs.

Jesse's on a good one. I was supposed to see Saviours with Akimbo, but the show was 21 and up, so instead i saw Mind Eraser and they owned. They didn't, but that riff is amazing. They didn't play "Ground Control to Major Bummer" either, but their new stuff is the best I've ever heard...new guitar player is awesome. Did Akimbo play "Tina, Bring Me The Axe!" off the new album? That song's owning me currently. I'm pretty excited to see both Dillinger Escape Plan (opening forAFI) and Akimbo this Monday. Woo hoo, show-hopping! Lords put on one of the coolest shows I've ever seen for about four people last year. Score's for them. Lords are a fucking powerhouse. I love it. Reviews are better when people don't take them seriously. Lords! I like music for being good. I don't drink or do drugs because I think they're stupid. Easy as that. The Cobra will keep riffing as long as there are Canadians still roaming this earth that need to be slayed. Oooh ok, so now i get it, you're edge, therefore you like 70's acid riff rock/metal just to be ironic? lords could have been the only band on this show, and it still would have been a ten. Elders is x-Milemarker,x-Gasoline Fight. Being obsessed with Buddyhead is so four years ago. akimbo is the greatest band live. was this just the chicago show? or are these bands playing more shows together? akimbo is supposed to play here wednesday, i just wanna know what the other bands are, its been impossible to find any info on the show. Nah brah, I'm edge. Edger than a mo'fucker. I'm guessing both. I guess he could be drunk. Is it just me, or is Jesse most likely on drugs. I hope it's both. Akimbo rocks. |
