Even though they still had members in high school, Aiden managed to sign to mega-indie Victory Records and release the immensely popular Nightmare Anatomy. The album, which received a lot of criticism for the mundane musicianship and appalling lyrics, was nothing more than just another clichéd, generic release. After reissuing their full-length debut, Aiden is now back at it again with a new EP that is once again going to please fans; but will it do anything to prove the critics wrong?

I reamber these guys two or three years ago not good i luv it!!!!! aiden u guys rock!!! AIDEN ARE BRILL!! love the EP and DVD! hmmmm... i understand completely that everyone has different taste in music. I mean, before that it was pretty much all rap and bad indie. Well at least cover music related shows. crazytoledo: I always found Aiden really catchy, nothing memorable, just the melodies tend to stick into your brain. In any case, the score is for this site, and how much laughs I (and I'm sure others) get out of reading some of either... Dude, that's because 'Full Collapse' rocks your face. So, Brad, what's it like being mentally disabled? I just can't see that under 100k is IMMENSELY popular, seeing as tony claims a million records sin't enough to recoup. And sure, hawthorne had shitloads of mtv2 spots and stuff, but come on, hasn't aiden? this album is a masterpiece, I'd liek to see you write something better seriously wiL is an inspiration if you read about him and research on his life you will find he has been through a lot to come to where he is now. He does write maturely and he puts whe he believes the listener can relate to. It might not be suicide or burning friends, but the represent feelings and what he has experienced. In my opinion lyrically he hasn't failed with providing the audience with a wonderful range of songs. I congratulate wiL and all the band memebers on producing yet another wonderful album. I hope that you will understand where he is coming from, he has experienced homelessness, failure, addiction to drugs and alcohol and through all this he has still matured into what he is today and what his fans admire him for. wiL is an inspiration to all who truely admire what he has done.. thanks Aiden for 'Rain in Hell' I loved it! :D - Brad Dorrington, Australia.... CAN'T WAIT TO SEE AIDEN IN MELBOURNE 8TH OF DECEMBER!!! ... braddorrington69@hotmail.com It was supposed to be 80k, not 180. Also, as of late, the only albums to hit 100,000 for Victory are: under 100k is extremly low even for a victory artist (since 03-04). Most of the releases they actually work (in other words, not bands like the voodoo glow skulls) hit pretty high. Spitalfields last album was a "huge flop" and it sold 180k. And Aiden has had waaaaaaaaaaaaay more promotion than spitalfield ""If I had a dime every time I heard that... under 100k is extremly low even for a victory artist (since 03-04). That cartoon character might be Milo. Not Descendents' Milo. There is a horror movie from 1998 called Milo. It is about a homicidal little boy in a rain-coat who terrorizes little girls. Anyway, they think that they kill him, but he comes back to haunt them when they grow up. It was one of the worst movies I have ever seen, and I wouldn't recommend it as it wasn't even one of those flicks that's "so bad it's good". But the cartoon character looks just like the little boy in the movie. "If I had a dime every time I heard that... If I had a dime every time I heard that... If he is a damn good artist, then he must have been having a bad day when he the did art of drounding (drowning?) and the all the hollows ep's cover art. That is some cheesy looking wanabe Tim Burton crap. The guy who did AFI's artwork on All Hallows. Black Sails and Art of Drowning was a man named Alan Forbes. And he is a pretty damn good artist. The Aiden cover looks almost anime inspired, I doubt he did this cover. "The whole point of my name is not to get credibility" What the fuck is up with that cover art? "Lets have a little evil guy in his rain slicker marching through a cemetary and draw it in a artstyle that is so ugly it makes anyone who has ever doodled in a notebook while half asleep feel embaressed." Was their any effort put into this? Did that guy who does AFI's art do this? That would explain alot. "Scruffy... you have no idea what you´re talking about... so shut up..." I like pitchfork's writing style, but they only like music based upon how "indie" it is. I do not really like indie rock. I happen to enjoy reviews that shit on bands that deserve it, not bands that are so bad that it's not worth trying. The whole point of my name is not to get credibility, but basically, I really like Crass. I have all of their albums, and I could probably recite the lyrics to every song on The Fedding of the 5000 by heart. I'm just enthusiastic, and angry. ops, i forgot the score :) bad music and bad cover artwork The person below me has to be lying. "I just don't think this band has any fans, and if they do, they're probably still in junior high." i love this album its not boring this band need to stop To the idiot naming themselves after someone awesome hoping it will lend their opinions credibility: New Converge is freakin' amazing. It's kind of hard to describe, but it's that good. "Grim Heart / Black Rose" is the curveball, but that song's top notch as well. album sucks, review sucks Dear god, how I despise crazytoledo. Yes, this band is shit--but guess what, kids? EVERYONE KNEW THAT ALREADY. It's obvious that "crazytoledo's been giving bad reviews to the kind of music one would assume him to like, simply because he wants to show how discriminating his tastes are. crazy--keep on trying. One day I'll know you'll put down Atreyu and pick up the Econochrist---c'mon, they're both metallic, and screamy. The only difference is that one of them is a good band. Jesus, I HAVE to start a new site, I'm fed up with this bullshit." Dear god, how I despise crazytoledo. Yes, this band is shit--but guess what, kids? EVERYONE KNEW THAT ALREADY. Jesus, I HAVE to start a new site, I'm fed up with this bullshit. haha i havent heard this cd but this is the UGLIEST band on the planet....and even though i havent heard it, i listened to their earlier shit, and its nothing impressive.... I like how the album title is a play off of Reign and Rain, that's so original...not! its my name....and its a joke. And this Aiden peace of shit band....yeah they aren't that good. Actually pretty shity.i broke my friends nose for making me listen to it. I said sorry but he understood and he threw the cd away! this is to who ever wrote indie is better than PUNK....THIS IS PUNKNEWS>ORG not INDIESTAKEINTHEASSORG Umm. Are you trying to give me crap for not liking Aiden? Come on now. Umm. Are you trying to give me crap for not liking Aiden? Come on now. Why would anybody talk shit about this review? Are all the shit talkers here actually sticking up for the generic vomit fest that is Aiden? They really are one of the most pathetic bands I've ever come across. omg i love this band i saw them at the warped tour and they kicked ass! um before you diss aiden you should know that they are really nice guys indie_is_better_than_punk, the real question here is how the hell did you even obtain this album in order to review it? no matter how you spin it, you had to make some effort, despite knowing that you would hate it. I kind of do like the artwork for this, I'm a sucker for the whole comicbook look but that dude in the rain coat ruins it. Say what you want about me, but the reviewer in question is only 17 years old according to his myspace profile. i'm going to wait two weeks before i buy this so i can pick up the super special limited edition reissue of this album. um before you diss aiden you should know that they are really nice guys um before you diss aiden you should know that they are really nice guys which record-release day produced more crap this year? I just don't think this band has any fans, and if they do, they're probably still in junior high. i tried listening to their last full length and couldn't get past the fact that he managed to mention nightmares in every song. the release before that one was actually pretty decent for the style they play but they blew it when they tried getting too dark or whatever. i do like the artwork on the cover of this one but i have to say i'll be skipping listening to it Adien fans would have rather had this album reviewed by the Fox News Channel where bias doesn't exist! The biggest question, will the Aiden fanboys and fan girls come here and attempt to verbally harass me again? Victory Record's "Tuesday of Terror" is upon us, beware! wait, wait....is that guy who's using d. boon's name actually trying to stick up for aiden? Victory Record's "Tuesday of Terror" is upon us, beware! So, are we playing the "How many reviews no one cares about can we post until the Converge review" game? The biggest question, will the Aiden fanboys and fan girls come here and attempt to verbally harass me again? What I love the most about this band is that they don't wear typical goth or screamo makeup. They wear drag queen makeup. They apply it the way normal girls learn to in junior high. i really really hate the title of this album. it makes me unnervingly upset. "Is there any way that we can prove that this person actually listened to this entire EP all the way through, rather than just look up a track listing at Amazon, listen to a couple of sound clips, and then post a delibrately negative review just to please the FuckYouOiOiOis and Jones The Boneses of the world?" hahahah....great link! Urrrgh, I hate it when 'orgcore' reviewers try and review something that isn't 'orgcore' Is there any way that we can prove that this person actually listened to this entire EP all the way through, rather than just look up a track listing at Amazon, listen to a couple of sound clips, and then post a delibrately negative review just to please the FuckYouOiOiOis and Jones The Boneses of the world? Improved version of your review: I listened to Nightmare Anatomy and thought that I had accidently downloaded a drunk Lagwagon recording. Flame on all you want, that's what I thought it sounded like. To me they sound like a bad version of Lagwagon (who I really don't care for in the first place), but they seem to think that they stand a chance at starring in the 5th (or is it 6th) Crow movie. Urrrgh, I hate it when 'orgcore' reviewers try and review something that isn't 'orgcore' The extras aren't decent in my opinion, but I know fans will like. So for fans, maybe a higher score, but for non fans, the score works. I would have said the exact same things if I had reviewed it - and I haven't heard the album yet. That's the problem with the Aiden. Urrrgh, I hate it when 'orgcore' reviewers try and review something that isn't 'orgcore' Score is for the link hahaha All reviews are bias. That's the point. They're opinions. alright this is ridiculos u say it has decent extras and decent covers but u give it a 1 / 5 lets be a little bit more unbiast when we reveiw shall we alright this is ridiculos u say it has decent extras and decent covers but u give it a 1 / 5 lets be a little bit more unbiast when we reveiw shall we what Billy Idol cover is it? those lyrics..... I'm gonna go buy this just to spite crazytoledo. This band is fucking embarrassing. With so much great music coming out of Seattle, these guys are a blemish on the local scene. This has to be the most biased shit I've ever read. This band gets more undeserved shit than any other besides maybe Leftover Crack. Yes, the goth thing is cheesy, but there are way worse bands. And that Die Romantic song is actually kinda catchy. Biased reviews rock! This is a gimmie review. even though crazytoledo is probably right, it doesn't seem like the smart move to run his review of it, because the punknews world already knows how much he hates this band |

hey claudey frog, why is it that only dudes who listen to wack music always make a big point of how they listen to everything? seems like a bit of a cop out. does that mean you like rap music? country? elvis costello? i bet not
