Our American CousinHow's This for a Diploma? (2006)No Sleep Reviewer Rating: Contributed by: Brian (others by this writer | submit your own) Published on November 17th 2006
In a mere three songs, Our American Cousin prove they've already got a firm grasp on both 1990s emo and indie rock, drawing from a variety of acts -- the most obvious being American Football, At the Drive-In and caP'n Jazz -- to create How's This for a Diploma?, a dainty, mesmerizing 14-minute effort.

i think the john wilkes reference has to do with the play 'our american cousin' i don't get this band. really disappointing. i love a lot of bands from the kansas city area but man this band sucks. this is really good. cant go wrong with AF and ATDI influences. That's how I roll. Good review, but it seems like you liked it enough to justify more than a 7. What didn't you like, the length? | Features
