From the moment I received their EP compilation of old material, Why Are You Laugh, Ultra Dolphins have given me a serious challenge in trying to describe them. Their long-awaited first full-length, Mar, really does anything but to the band's reputation; it's even weirder than past compositions, impossible to pigeonhole and subsequently just as frenetic and disorderly as the band have ever been.

I guess this is music. This album is pretty good, however, nothing compared to their live performance. Before I saw Ultra Dolphins, I had never witnessed someone playing guitar and drums at the same time. After, I had experienced it, and it was awe inspiring. Definitely caught me by surprise, great album. This album is really good from what i heard. Pales in comparison to the live show, however. This sounds pretty damned good, I'll have to check it out. These niggas are sick with it. I thought Why Are You Laugh was fantastic, so I can't wait to pick this up. If you like these guys give Meth and Goats a try, kinda similar. | Features
