SO POWERFUL! Thatīs what this album is, some people said itīs the way punk should be. Well, I agree. Well, I went to the Bombshell Rocks concert on Amsterdam, actualy it was the Ounk-O-Rama show, I didnīt knew too much about this band before this show but, WOW, they where SO great, fucking awesome. I am the kind of person that just like to see the way the band plays, visualize the guitar riffs, bass lines and that stuff, I was amazed, the way this band plays between the guitars is great, two awesome guitar players, lots of power chords and the other one uses like prime notes, amazing, good bass lines, maybe itīs the weak part of the band, but they are good the bass lines. fast and good drumming. I enjoy a lot the way this music is singed, obviously it has a lot of Rancid influence. You can see the Rancid influence in songs like 21st century riot or in the guitar solo of the song 1999. Iīm a big chorus fan, this band uses choruses but are not as well elaborated as they could be, this would improve a lot their music but I have to say that this album is almost perfect. So powerful. Some of my favorites: 1999, 21st Century Riot, Unstoppable (good choruses), Tonight Iīm burning. This is a must have for all you punk rockers so go and get this album. Best review ever. it was ok, not what i expected from all the great stuff they put on punk-o-rama 4-6 like 1.80 down, but, still, the songs that are good are damn good, but out of 14 songs, i dunno, it doesn't quite add up to some of the other great stuff i've gotten this year. i do like the european twist though. Fuck yeah someone reviewed this great record. This album in extremely good and will get you singing along in minutes. Everything blends perfectly. The choruses are fine. Damnit you people and your choruses. Pick this up. I think Bombshell Rocks is a great band, i put them as one of the better UK band that is currently around.As for the lp I think it's better than the first lp. That's just my opinion. I never liked this band. They're just boring to me. I don't like too many European bands, except maybe Consumed and Refused (RIP). This record is ok...I would'nt rank them up there with the best european bands but good nonetheless. the surfers and quest for rescue are the best bands europe, scandanavia or whatever has ever produced. |
