Don’t be fooled. Dear and the Headlights, despite their awful and not so clever play on words name, has a lot to offer. The Phoenix-based band combines influences of Radiohead, the Arcade Fire and even Bob Dylan in creating melody-filled rock music that leaves an impression. Think of a less complex, more rocking and straightforward Arcade Fire.

Are you telling me that the Arcade Fire is complex?!???! Nuh-uh! despite the painfully bad name, this band is absolutely incredible. Coldplay will be the best & greatest music band in the planet earth of all time in the next 3 years. Coldplay will rule the world in next 10 years. COLDPLAY Coldplay will be the best & greatest music band in the planet earth of all time in the next 3 years. "that's a truly brilliant metaphor... seriously." this is an awesome fun record. i'm glad someone else picked up the bear vs. shark thing. it totally sounds like bear vs. shark doing a straight pop record. "if it sounds like Coldplay and Radiohead, why would anyone want to listen to it? That's like saying something tastes like Brillo Pads and bleach. If it sounds like Coldplay and Radiohead, why would anyone want to listen to it? That's like saying something tastes like Brillo Pads and bleach. agreed, great stuff. if bear vs. shark had written straight up pop songs, it would have sounded like this. | Features
