Trap Them's debut is more blistering than living in the sun's chromosphere, blending bits of punk, crust, grind, and metal, screaming and twisting its way through 21 minutes on Sleepwell Deconstructor.

That mp3 is ok. Not "jarring" though. I believe you meant to give this a ten. It's okay, everybody makes mistakes, now go fix it. this band also had the vocalist/guitarist of Transistor Transistor. The album is no doubt solid. elephantdwarf be right. this is at least a solid 4. it's a little short, but that Destructionaire Extraordinaire song is fucking epic. kurt ballou's production is fucking sick. great stuff. this is better than a 3 1/2. i'd say at least a 4. maybe a 4 1/2 after a few more listens. This band includes ex-members of Backstabbers Inc., and the sound is not dissimilar. Chances are, if you liked Backstabbers Inc, you'll like these guys. I do. i'm from boston and they're gaining some steam up here. they've done shows with hope con and converge already. from what i've heard from their myspace, they have sort of an Ed Gein-ish grind/tech-metal sound. | Features
