Weatherbox got by perfectly on their nearly incredible EP, The Clearing, with a surefire mix of the quirky rock hooks of Criteria and Say Anything. While some Gatsbys American Dream nodding guitar work is seemingly the only aspect added to their musical arsenal here, it's not quite the reason that Weatherbox's finely solid debut full-length is otherwise just a tad disappointing

If I could fight these guys I would. I live in New Brunswick. Come over. Loser has to listen to your album. they label, band name, and album title point out that this album is ted haggard as fuck. I'm liking this alot. Even with the length I find myself listening to it multiple times per sitting. see, it really is all about your band name. weatherbox just sounded like the name of a band i would like. i read the review, wasnt sure, listened to the stream and i dig this now. These guys aren't bad. Say Anything is better in every regard. This record rules so hard. Who cares if there's a few songs from the EP on it? It's not like that EP sold gangbusters or anything; this is still the first time most people will hear those songs. There are ways of finding it...less than legally here on the Intarweb. If I can do it, you can. I didn't care much for The Clearing EP, how does this compare? damn you Brian ever since you reviewed the EP I've wanted to get it but was unable to find it locally. I better have an easier time finding this or I'll.....pour ketchup on your door. | Features
