what kind of music do they play, whats it sound like? could i maybe get some lyrical samples?

Criticism is fine, but blanket flamebait like "shitty review" (no explanation) is completely worthless. Have something to add to the review? Then say it. Don't go piling up this site even more with tasteless comments.

that' s a gross overgeneralization. i know plenty of punks who are poor and either live on the street or shitty apartments or squats.

People don't like "street punk" because it's a fashion-oriented, mail-order scene. You can be like FuckYouOiOiOi--never go to a local show, order Casualties records and $200 boots online--and be considered a "street punk" without actually taking part in a subculture. It's like becoming an ordained minister through the mail or something.

Also, the fact that most street punk scenes, if you'd even call them scenes, are just a revolving door for teenage drunks and self-hating rich kids surely doesn't help peoples' image of the genre. If you have boots and a mohawk you're probably between 13-19 years old and are either homeless or divide your time between your parents' Victorian townhouses.

The lower class brats are rad. There music is not groundbreaking at all but goddamn if you can't have a good time at their show. I will be seeing them in a month. And most people on this site don't like street punk. They either like metal or pop-punk, when it comes to music like the Lower Class Brats and Rancid people think it sucks. It doesn't make sense.

For some reason, one of the newer trends in the fashion punk circle is liking hair metal. 80's hair metal revival. No joke. I guess all the ugly girls reached that age where they investigated what their leathery old meth head moms did in the 80's, and decided they liked the clothes (therefor the music, since, you know, music comes after wearing cool clothes).

Next time, you could use more convincing grammar in your put-downs. This is a DVD moron, nobody watches DVDs with their eyes closed, so why would I just review the music. Your 8th grade logic doesn't even make sense. Furthermore, the guitarist's stature was mentioned by another reviewer so obviously I'm not the only one who feels that way.
