After two albums on Speed Nebraska! Records, one released under their old name, Zyklon Bees, and a slew of great 7"s that followed, Nebraska’s own Brimstone Howl deliver their third full-length, Guts of Steel, their first for Alive Records.

these guys sound really good. This must be the first time a band has made an homage to the lightning hopkins album cover Ken. I wouldnt say they're as great as RS (At least circa "Too Much Guitar" RS) but you should dig this group anyhow, they're riding the same wave. awww man, thats a sweet band name This band is rad. It is like new bomb turks-MC5-some country band with the early rock and soll steeze. From the description, these guys kind of sound like Reigning Sound - anyone know if they're as good as RS? Semen salad. Are they serious about the Jesus thing? If so, that's not my cup of tea...at all. But I'd be willing to at least listen to a few of these songs to see if I'd like them. I'm not a Black Keys fan though, so I dunno if I'll dig it. | Features
